Where to start! I made a reservation for a party of 4 at noon and we got there it was super disorganized. So the employees were scrambling with a few guest. They ignored us until 12:30 then Ruben one of the employees stated are you going tubing and I told him to look at our reservation it was for kayak. So then the unload of the kayaks that we filled with dirt and ants. Finally, Ruben calls us to the launch area and asks my husband to help him pull the kayaks in the water! After on the river we had to get out of the kayaks as the river was too low. So it was a river walking tour pulling the kayaks. After that get to the take out to be greeted by Ruben again. He stood on top of the hill and ask my husband to give him the paddles, and life jackets. If that wasn't enough he ask my husband to pull the kayak up hillside and to help him take the kayaks in top of the van. Also, the changing trailer was out of order as there were bees and wasp in them. I will not recommend this to anyone!i read more

A friend and I rented Kayaks for the river and Caleb was a great help getting us in and out of the river. There was the cutest dog ever named Nona that was full of love and Caleb was very nice and easy to chat with. Even saw some Cows on the river. Definitely call and ask about water levels, we got lucky to be there after a few days of rain. read more

This company lacks customer service, and the ability to apologize when they fall short of its client's expectations. We started our trip down the river at 3:00 pm. It was approximately a 2 hour tubing trip. - Let me start with the tubes, they looked like they had been dragged through the mud and then dried. They all need a good cleaning. - when we got to the area of the river where we exit, there is a rope that is luckily covered in mud. You walk up a bank that is just shy of a mud slide. So after tubing you get a chance to get really muddy. Upon getting up the bank, we waited, I expected a short wait, after seeing the van go by it picked up some kayaks that had gone further down the river. So we waited, and waited and waited.......waited some more.......oh and waited..... We called the base camp and were told the van was on its way, but it never showed! We called back, told the van had broken down, so after waiting more then 90 minutes the van finally showed up. But rather then putting its customers first we waited some more while the loaded up the tubes. On the ride back had one of employees (female) be completely rude and say inappropriate things that only fueled the lousy customer experience that we had today. Never once acknowledged that they were late or anything, not even an apology to say sorry, we had some issues..... This company had opportunities to treat us as valued customers and completely missed the mark. If your looking to have a great trip I'd look else where. If your looking to be forgotten, left on the river bank to get cooked in the sun, and rude comments you have found the perfect tubing company. Buyer beware! read more

Extremely disappointed with this company. Bought a Groupon which they failed to honor (said I needed seven day advanced reservation-- this was not listed on the Groupon voucher or add). Silly me I then booked four reservations with them the next day (so clearly they had the ability to accommodate our Groupon group). They offered numerous things for sale at their put in location (according to their website). They had next to none of these items. River was so low we had to walk a great deal -- this was not mentioned when making the reservation. There are lots of other companies doing this, pick one of them. This company is just here to take people's money. read more

We enjoyed a family outing for a 2 hour float. Relaxing and beautiful! Logan especially took extra precaution, only allowing drivers in van to go back to their cars then pick the rest of us up. Much appreciated! read more

Super fun and amazing , the water is so clear and beautiful, cold but feels good especially with the sun out . Super great bonding experience with my family we came here for a family trip . They did so good yesterday especially due to them being low stuff, a broken down van & being extremely packed . I was super impressed and definitely would 10/10 recommend to anyone for all ages . Also it's so nice and fun for kids and adults can take beverages on the lake and the scenery is absolutely beautiful! The staff also made sure everyone knew the instructions very well and clear before leaving so we didn't end up in virginia. The facts behind this river is actually very interesting too! Our trip was an afternoon float down the Watauga River, which was a very tame stretch of water, clean and cold. We had two adults and a couple of young boys (8 and 11), and the guides were good sports with the splashy-splashy and the water gun distractions during the slow parts. There's a rock outcrop just after the put-in, and we stopped and jumped off. This is a no-frills rafting operation, and I really appreciated that. The focus is on getting you to the launch point, helping you enjoy your trip down the river, and then getting you back to your car. (I think they also offer a morning trip that includes lunch, and maybe an all-day rafting option.) They're not trying to make money with add-ons like gear and accessories you don't need (although they do sell water and those sunglasses strap thingies). The raft and the oars were of good quality and in great shape, so no worries there. The vests did have a bit of a funk to them, but nothing that got in the way of enjoying the trip. They even took some photos with their waterproof camera as we floated down the river and then shared them with us online for free. I can't guarantee that you'll also get this treatment, but it was refreshing to get a few nice shots of our day for no extra charge. You can tell that these guys enjoy what they are doing. Just the kind of small business I'm happy to spend my dollars with. Safe and fun, without any surprise fees. read more

The infrastructure is lacking slightly but with no doubt will catch up to their awesome service and attention to detail. Don't hesitate to join this tubing adventure. COME PREPARED. Tubed down the river expecting to be picked up at the end by the van and driven back to our cars. Waited for the van for an hour and a half before finally being picked up by the van. Employees were rude and didn't apologize for leaving us out there in the burning sun. We tubed down the river faster than the van drove. Crappy service from a crappy company. read more

This has been a horrible adventure trip. We went to River & Earth Adventures today. We came here to tube down the river for 5 miles. When we got done tubing we were sitting and waiting for the bus for 2 hours, literally. We called them 2 times and they made a excuse with their car breaking down. We didn't walk back because it's a 3 miles walk. They finally arrived and made US put the tubes back on. Why should we have to do that, it's their job. There was about 30 people waiting for the bus. They picked up drivers only. They made every driver get their car and come pick up the rest of their family. The woman in the front of the car was very rude, We was literally cooking outside. Standing in the sun for 2 hours. We asked the woman employee if the ac works in the back. Her reply is " I wouldn't know I don't sit back there". In a very rude and disrespectful tone. This place is horrible I would not recommend. The tubing itself was alright until the end. This definitely deserves a 1 star. Now we're getting home much later.
