After being refused by several restaurants on a Saturday evening (we didn't make a reservation anywhere), we randomly came across this restaurant and were extremely happy when they could have a seat for us! Although we did not have a reservation, they were friendly and helpful. We had their buffet deal (169kr. per person), and we really enjoyed their variety of choices! In the middle of our meal, they brought some steak to our table. They said it belongs to the buffet, but they just serve it for each table as they cook fresh. The steak was pretty good, and we thought it was a nice touch/gesture! The only thing- if I may- would be that, It'd have been even better if they had some dessert at the buffet as well (they had oranges and pineapples). Since the buffet was good, we'd like to come back and order from their menu the next time. They also have some deal called "Buffet & Biograf" (http://restaurantrivas.dk/menukort/buffet-biograf/)- I understand that when you order a buffet, you pay 30 kr. extra to get a cinema ticket from BioCity. Was really weird. Arrived at 7 in the evening, prime time, but the buffet was nearly empty, and nothing was restocked. The waiters seemed unexperienced, but talked to us like we were idiots. - they could not explain what the dishes were even though Danish is my mother tongue. the hot dishes had no meat left in them except the chicken. - which was a lousy chicken in a bland, red tomato sauce. All the costumers seemed to know the owners and the staff except for me and some guests that left their table because the staff forgot all about them.
