What a great eatery in Aarhus! The seafood is incredibly fresh, the portions are fantastic, and the service was lovely. This is a true family business, which the owner explained allows for him to offer very reasonable prices for quality food.
The sea bass fish (fiskeret) came with three sides from the appetizers portion of the menu (excludes tabouleh salad). With two fish entrees, we chose 6 sides in total: spicy cauliflower (2), spicy potatoes (2), shakshuka, and babaganoush. The fish and chips came with tartar sauce and ketchup, and was equally good. The paella did not appear to be authentic Spanish paella, but my mother loved it nonetheless. It was chock-full of mussels and shrimp. The cabbage salad had a zing with a vinegar dressing and lots of fresh herbs.
This spot was a big hit and we are looking forward to returning the next time we are in town! read more
