Well, we liked our appetizers okay (1/2 lobster & seafood salad), but then the main course dishes were unbelievably salty! My husband and I ordered different fish dishes, but as soon as we had our first bites, we both looked at each other... and he goes, "is yours as salty as mine?"... really, we couldn't believe how much salt they had put into those dishes! We managed to finish them with the aid of lots of bread (which, by the way, was also pretty salty!). Sorry for not giving more stars, but when you spend over 900kr. for lunch (for: two 2-course-menu, two glasses of white wine), you'd expect the meal to be delicious, not salty :(

They use Ramson leaves which was new to me grounded into an herb dust. The dust makes the butter extra savory. Husband had the steak and says the best ribeye of his life and he is Australian. The staff is excellent and provides good suggestions in wine and helps to provide a great atmosphere. This is not a cheap place to eat but compared to other restaurants in Denmark in the same league you get good value for money. Further the restaurant is situated in the center of Kerteminde just next to the harbour and if you come by ship you can get served on your own ship. If you have to buy a ship the overall experience might be overpriced!
