We dined at the Slotskro on an a wonderfully warm evening. We had a table outside and took in the beautiful view across the bay and out to the old ruin. The food was excellent! 3 of us had the Argentinian steak, cooked to perfection, one had chicken breast. The vegetables were better than the usual fare served up in Danish restaurants in this price range. Stuffed mushroom. Spinach wrapped in pancake and golden saute whole new potatoes. The meal came with an excellent salad bar inclusive in the 2 or 3 course meal. The desserts were also worth experiencing. The server was good but we had no explanation why our meal came up after later arrivals but we were in no hurry so the wait was worth it. The restaurant was busy on the night if our visit.
Will definitely be going back before it closes in mid September. read more
