I felt comfy and at ease despite it being a newbie - thank you! The barber shop is cute, tidy, and welcoming. The plant vibes helped me feel even more welcome. I left dissatisfied and incorrectly assumed that after washing my hair some of what I didn't like would improve, but it didn't. During my recent visit, I was hopeful that friendly and deliberate descriptions would get me the haircut I was looking for. It wasn't until after I got home that I noticed how uneven the length was across the front, how much more hair than I requested had been cut off, and what other requests I made had been ignored. I would rather be writing a glowing nostalgic review like some of the others I see here. My simple expectations from a barber is that they can listen to, understand and provide a haircut that their client wants. I did not get that,

The wait time is never too long and you do not need to make an appointment to get a haircut. The barbers are professional and know how to cut hair and do an excellent job. Their hours are convenient to accommodate one with the busy schedule. In my opinion it is hard to find a great barber that really knows how to cut hair well and this place does an excellent job and is one of the best in town. My first time in was a week before Christmas, Melissa and Tom were both choppin' and there was about an hour wait. I was greeted with a smile and subtle convo by the others in line. I ended up getting in Melissa's chair and after about 30 minutes of me checking my hair and having her re-do it (until my haircut was acceptable to me) I'm a stickler on my haircut, and I am grateful for her patience as the line only grew and I kept asking for shuttle changes. (Yes I'm that guy) but because she was receptive and patient, I was able to walk outa there with my best haircut here since moving to Foco. I went back yesterday and sat in Toms chair, and after I showed him the photo of what I was looking for in a cut, and a couple changes here and there, I once again walked out with the cut that I wanted. Tom as well was receptive and patient with my slight shuttle changes (and very funny) All-in-all I'm very pleased with these guys. I've tried multiple different salons and barbers and I'm sure they all can give a great cut, but not to my expectation like these guys. Thanks again!
