We visited this restaurant whilst we we were on holiday in the nearby village of La Drova. There were four of us and we went for an evening meal, the welcome was friendly, they coped with our dreadful Spanish and the menu was in Spanish, French, German and English so there was little chance of a mistake.
The restaurant was very quiet - we were the only people there (it was 8.45pm) although there were a few people in the bar attached. No one else had appeared when we left an hour and a half later.
We had a salad to start and paella as our main meal. The salad was OK but appeared to be all the ingredients left in the kitchen thrown together with a rather anonymous dressing.
The paella was very good, not too salty but packed full of flavour. The top had been grilled to give the shell fish a really good taste. There was plenty for all of us and we really enjoyed the experience.
I wouldn't give any more stars because the atmosphere was so flat and the salad was not brilliant.
We probably would only go again if we knew when the restaurant was busy as the whole eating out experience depends on the right atmosphere. But don't let me put you off - try it yourself when you are passing and see what you think! read more
