The French spa-ingredient based products are not the cheapest but are good quality and a pleasure to use. I recommend a consultation here where they test your skin moisture, hydration and collagen levels (in a quick pain-free way!) and will happily provide you with samples so that you can try before you buy.

It's not the largest Superdrug store, nor the most glam, but they are always fully stocked, the shop girls are friendly but not over-keen or 'in your face' and it's well laid out (well, to be fair I've been using it for 20-odd years so I guess I just know where everything is!) My favourite thing about this store, however, is the resident cat (you noticing a pattern of me liking shops more if they have a pet?) He's not actually Superdrug's cat, he belongs to the pet shop next door, but you'll often find this gorgeous black and white, chubby little moggy sat in one of the aisles, whiling the hours away. He's the world's most patient and chilled out cat, I've seen many a bored child running towards him for a cuddle and he's completely unphased by them. Cuteness!
