Staff has not filled prescriptions that were called in for me and my pet from various offices, that's how i KNOW it is this joke of a pharmacy dropping the ball, not the doctors' offices, the places Rite Aid aka WRONG aid likes to blame their own incompetency on. When the pharmacy says they "never got a scrip called in," i go on enjoyable (and quite time-consuming) adventures of phoning the doctors' offices, who let me know exactly which date it got sent to rite aid, with a quick and easy review of my file, they can do that because they did their jobs in the first place. Then I get to call back the lovely folks at rite aid and let them know this, and get no apology, just a "it'll be ready in 15 minutes", no explanation of how they can now, supposedly "still" with "no scrip", miraculously make the right med and dosage. The way the pharmacy operates is an insult to my intelligence. The last time it happened I spoke on the phone to a male pharmacist who tried to pass the hot potato blame of the missing prescription onto someone else in the pharmacy dept., when I knew better. he totally avoided me when i came to pick it up, letting a female pharmacist handle it. no people or professional skills back there. i hope there are pain relievers aplenty for everyone who gets thrown under the bus by their colleagues as well.
