Businesses in Vermont that are "places of public accommodation" (like restaurants, retail stores,…read moreand service providers) are generally required to have restrooms, and all single-user restrooms must be designated as gender-neutral. Act 127, effective July 2018, requires single-stall, lockable restrooms to be marked simply as "restroom" without gender-specific signage. It is unacceptable that there is no restroom in this facility. Especially being a healthcare retailer.

There was a 3-day buffer on picking up medicine. Meaning something that was to be refilled could be refilled 3 days early. Today I was in the Kinney store and needed something refilled. I was 3 days early. Just like i have always done. Only to be told you can only pick up meds the day before refill date. And that was the policy. I'm on 6 different meds. And with all of life's obligations I don't know how people can live with that without sometimes running out. Very poor corporate policy.

She is so kind and very smart. That being said, the other pharmacy staff can be touch and go. It seems to be a lot better than previously. I'm mad at myself for forgetting her name- it's either Judy or Jody- and I've always thought we were so lucky to have her as our local pharmacist. The other pharmacist isn't necessary "not nice", he's very good at his job but his bedside manner isn't as warm and fuzzy. Not to say he's rude because that's not it at all. We are so fortunate to have this staff in town and I genuinely hope they stay!

But today was special as I found out how they treat their customers. When they can't completely fill your prescription, they charge you a copay for half. Fine. But when you come for the rest of your prescription a few weeks later, they charge you another copay. That's called gouging and this pharmacy and the owner should be ashamed of themselves. I'm glad I'm not a senior (yet)! The place is filthy with grime and stains around the door handles. Parking is also a nightmare. Just an overall dump and Ill be moving all our prescriptions as soon as possible.

Mostly, it's the people. They are a very friendly group, as a rule, some of them quite delightfully so. The pharmacists are thoughtful and easy-going -- no rush if they have to explain your prescriptions -- and the employees tend to be uncommonly pleasant to deal with. You can occasionally find some bargains here (they regularly put bottled water on deep reductions), and even some snack food items show up with a good price.
