My three stars are reflective of the lack of inventory, not reflective of the excellent customer service I received. Dropped in because a friend who is homebound asked me to pick up an OTC drug for them. I love the Rite Aid brand offerings of OTC products, so I picked that up. It was a great value. The store was clean and orderly despite it being 60% bare shelves. If this store closes, I'll missy local "thrifty" ice cream stop. read more

Had my RX at Watt ave rite aide for years. They had wonderful service and so help.My Rx was moved to Marconi when they closed. 15 years with the Watt pharmacy (it closed) and NO issues. A few moths with Marconi and nothing BUT issues. After complaining to the manager, he said that this store had to absorb two other stores, so they are filling prescriptions for THREE stores Good luck if you call them, maybe they will pick up the phone. Takes WAY too long to fill prescriptions and I had something that was out of stock and they did not bother to order it until I called and asked about it. It was promised for 2:00 PM the next day and it was not ready and I had to call the manager to get a live person and gee, it was somehow ready in 5 minutes. I got an email stating so. I am switching to Walgreen's after I pick up what I am waiting for now. read more

These people could care less about patients. If you are getting a narcotic-even for terminal cancer-they could give a about you. Make you wait days, they tell you they are too busy to fill, or don't have enough employees, or they are sick and can't refill your prescription. It doesn't matter how sick YOU are. It's been days since I've had my prescription that I'm supposed to take twice a day, and now I can't get out of bed. Preauths are done, paperwork in their hands, they just are incompetent. The pharmacists are uncaring and so are the staff. Will be looking for another pharmacy ASAP. Pathetic. read more

I have never had an issue with this pharmacy... In fact they have always gone above and beyond for me. They have always been pleasant and recognize me by face. All the pharmacists have always been friendly and thorough when explaining the medications. The pharmacy staff always greet me and are congenital. Pharm tech. "Lac" Unbelievably condescending attitude. Went to pick up my mother's medication. Turns out there was nothing to pick up bc I was too early. Asked him a few confirmation questions so I could explain it later to my mom. Not that what he was telling me was incorrect, but just his manner of speaking was offensive. Gave off that I'm better than you, like I cant believe you're asking me this stupid question. I use to go to the Rite Aid on Watt, and stopped because they never had enough medication to fill the entire prescription. Their attitude was it was no big deal to take time out of your day to come back. Fast forward 15years and I moved. This Rite Aid is just around the corner and I decided to give them a try. For the most part it has been good until the last two visits. I went to pick up a prescription for Motrin the girl looked at my information and said oh yeah there it is we haven't filled it yet I will get it started and tells me it will be 30 to 45 minutes. The prescription was placed by my doctor at 9 am and I went in to pick up at 2 pm. Again the attitude was oh well but the apology was sincere. Yesterday 5/14 I went to pick up my prescription at 6/6:15. The prescription was placed on 5/12 and Rite Aid called and left a message that it was ready. When I went in they would not give me my prescription because the pharmacist was at lunch and she had to okay the prescription. Apparently they have a policy that when you receive a new prescription the pharmacist has to review it with you. It is mandatory and they will not dispense it until they do. If you can't dispense the medication then close the pharmacy while the pharmacist is at lunch. Better yet how about the pharmacist has standard lunch hours that can be posted so you know when to go get you medication. I will not come here again, I will make the drive to CVS where I have never had an issue. All Rite Aid is good for is ice cream and I could not even have that. read more

Horrible pharmacy , The pharmacy staff are very unprofessional , there is no such thing as customer service , I have a new born les than 2 weeks old and she has a prescription here and the guy asks for patients ID, I say she is a newborn doesn't have anything here is my ID and her moms and the he says no provide moms insurance card , since she didn't have it on her , longs story short we could not get the medication and baby cried all night. Next time I have another pick up here , lady says , it's going to take 30-40 minutes until we prepare the medication I said fine, I came back 1 hour later she still had me sit for another 30 minutes read more

I like this Rite Aid the people are friendly, so far they have carried what I need, when I need it. They are good about mentioning the specials if they see you are getting certain things. They also let you get a scoop of ice cream and then shop and you can pay later with everything else when your done. It's small, but not too small. They still have a good selection. Good weekly specials! Parking is great there are always plenty of spots. If you are getting a prescription they even have a drive thru. You always get a friendly checker, and it's as close as you can get to the old time corner drugstore. read more

I briefly switched to a mail-order pharmacy because it was cheaper. That lasted about, oh, 2 months. The service was terrible, I ran out of prescription meds. Basically, it was shite. So back to Rite Aid. Best decision ever (as far as prescriptions go anyway!). If I run low for some reason, refills are easy and ready quickly. The price is a bit higher but not enough to make me want to give up on the ability to pick things up locally when I actually need them. Pamela always recognizes me and my wife so she's already getting our stuff when we arrive. The other staff are not bad either! Plus there's ice cream. Why wouldn't you go get your drugs where there's ice cream? read more

The store itself is confusingly laid out, but clean. Staff nice and helpful--they have Thrifty ice cream! The parking lot is a nightmare. Filthy dirty with an array of trash and items sure to put a hole in your tire. The day I was there, two people were drinking beer sitting on the sidewalk, trash all over, and they were just sitting in it--yuck! I would not recomened going here after dark. read more

Seems like piles of things are always being hauled to the asiles and left there. Its slower here so most things are in stock, but liqour specials were out 50/50. We recently switched our Rite-Aid prescriptions to this location because it's closer to our house. We've still been driving to our old Fulton Rite-Aid since moving in 2008 because we liked their staff, but we gave up and realized there's no point wasting gas. So after holding out to switch for so long, we're a bit annoyed because the last dozen times we've been to the Marconi Rite-Aid their drive-thru prescription window has been closed! There's always a "register broken, come inside" sign taped to the window. While I don't mind walking in and I understand that things break, do you realize that a big draw to pharmacies like your's are the drive-thru service? PLEASE FIX YOUR DRIVE-THRU REGISTER! Besides that, good store selection and friendly staff. When I buy makeup, the check-out lady usually strikes up friendly small talk about the pretty colors I'm buying or nail polish tips. read more

I absolutely love everyone here. I drive past both Walgreens on Marconi AND CVS on Marconi to come to rite aid instead. The assistant manager Mike is the most awesome retail manager ever. No matter how busy he is, he'll drop what he's doing to help me find a product and have a little chit chat. Every employee is in a good mood and you can tell they don't hate their job. The workers are always busy on the aisles, but if more than two people get in line the cashier immediately calls for backup...this is not the case for CVS. read more

This review is about two particular cashiers, Carol and Renne-sha (sp?). I go into this Rite Aid location fairly often because it's around the corner from me. So today I go in, and am rang up by an incredibly nice cashier who happened to be a supervisor. She rang up my items and I then realized I had forgotten My card, so the supervisor politely told me she would hold my stuff for me behind the counter until I got back. So I go home, get my card and drive back and there are two new cashiers. I go up to one cashier (Renee) and I told her my situation and that my items are being held right behind her, so she goes and only grabs 2 items. I tell her I had more items on hold that were there , and she rudely told me that she didn't see any of my other items, and she refused to even look. So I give up on her and go try looking for my items around the store. I get back and end up having to wait 15 min in line, even though all my items were already right behind the counter. I finally make it to the register and CAROL and RENEE begin speaking rude to me saying they don't have my items even though neither of them even tried looking for them at all. I then start to get upset because RENEE tried to act like she had given me my items even though she hadn't, CAROL then calls a supervisor on me telling me that I'm "being difficult". I get home and called to speak to a supervisor and was apologized to and I was told she was looking at my stuff as we spoke, proving that Carol and Renee were simply being lazy and refused to even look for my items. CAROL and RENEE are two of the laziest and rudest employees I have come across in this store. As a daily customer here, I've never been treated so rudely. I asked Renee for her name (she wasn't wearing a name tag) and she refused to provide me her name and rudely told me she didn't have to, and sarcastically asked me for MY name. I gave up and began to leave the store and I hear CAROL and RENEE talking about me to eachother saying that I was "freaking out over orange juice" and they continued to laugh at me and whisper about me to eachother until I was out of the store. I can't believe how rude and unprofessional these women were and I will be making a formal complaint. Besides these two rude and lazy women, every other associate has been great. It's unfortunate that these two women alone are giving this location a bad vibe. I would also like to thank the supervisors of this store for being professional and polite and offering to make up this awful experience to me. CAROL and RENEE do not deserve to be employed here with their incredible lack of customer service and horrible attitudes. read more

I like this rite aid. Always stocked, never really long lines and the cashier are always kind.

They just really do not care, at all. I have used them as my primary pharmacy for over a year. They mess up things on a routine basis. I have spoken with them in person. I have emailed them. I have written letters to their corporate headquarters. And not once have they made the slightest effort to fix anything. They make excuses and tell me to talk to someone else. I have finally given up on them and switched to another pharmacy. And I will never go back to them. They are just the very worst. I loved this store until the women manager accused me of stealing even though I paid for the item. I had a bathroom emergency while shopping and was thankful they had restrooms available the other managers an clerks were wonderful. when I purchased my WU and other items the kid that was called security walked by lurking at my purse and it made me feel strange. I had no ideal that the product was there so she asked if I was going to purchases them. I of course did and she said to go to the security guard to sane him search my bag. he said to me your good and have a good day, I left. I had been the in store after that a few times doing WU and buying products with no issues. I had a little trouble with my WU they made and error and I had to go back in and redo it. She the manager was there , she told me that I wasn't allowed in the store as they told me the. I was stunned the security guard never to old me that because I was stealing I was not allowed in the store . when I left she yelled out at me calling me a thief which I was heard by customers and clerks. I paid for the item and she had no right to call me names. I told her she was a unprofessional manager and is in the wrong line of work. Rite Aid your that is slander against me and because of medical issues I have been suffering with that manager women and her attitude and mouth really made me suffer more pain. read more

I like this Rite Aid :) I always come here for my prescriptions and have only had an issue once but it was resolved right away. They are quick with refilling my meds. I'M NOT COMING BACK. Today I got the worst customer service ever. The issue was on rewards coupons (the new computerized service did not show them on my card even though I had a receipt on my hands) and three! sales associates were trying to convince me that I've already used them. I felt like I was accused of some devious scheme just because I wanted to redeem my coupons before they expire. So what about those three ladies? Oh, they were extremely "helpful", because the most help that I've got from them was a strong suggestion that I take my receipts and call 1800-riteaide. I've worked at the department store for 3years until I went to college and I do know what the good customer service is about. It is not only in pointing to the "aisle four", but in truly making a shopping experience pleasant by putting a patron at ease if he/she happen to be confused from the new store policy/computerized system/whatever. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I experience sub-par service at that location. It was complete lack of knowledge of the coupon policy that first showed me incompetence of personnel. Well, I let it slide then, but not now. The embarrassment they made me feel just because I tried to rightfully redeem my rewards coupons was unbearable as well as was their ignorance to the needs of the customer. read more

This Rite Aid has looks real pretty, but in this case looks ARE deceiving. We only went to this Rite Aid because it's closer to our house and CVS had to order my medication that I'm completely out of. Despite my boyfriend being there before 6PM they would not help him because "our clocks work differently than everyone else's, so we've already closed." I had called at 555PM to ensure that they were ready and they would still help him since it was cutting it close to closing. The store associate transferred me to the pharmacy, failing to mention their clock difference, and I was left on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and got the explanation from James "our clocks are run by corporate. My cell says it's 604p and our registers says it's 608pm." I was placed on hold to wait on hold to speak to the manager who flat out told my boyfriend she would not be taking my call now. I hung and called right back. She gave was only a shift supervisor, not a manager. She didn't even care when I told her that without those medications I would end up in the emergency room. She didn't give any alternative solutions for 5 minutes. Eventually she gave me her store manager's number and the corporate number saying "you can call corporate right now, they should be able to help you but my manager is gone until Monday." My boyfriend came home to tell me he heard James make snide comments to the pharmacy about the situation and then again to the shift supervisor. The corporate office is open on Eastern Time and had been closed for the weekend for 3 hours. She was even reluctant to give me her name of something like Tiera. If I didn't need my medications so bad and could wait for my pharmacy to order them, I'd cancel my scripts with them and have them filled elsewhere! read more

The pharmacy staff is horrible. Came in to pick up my prescriptions and told they would have order one prescription please come back tomorrow. I come back the next day with two impatient kids in tow... same story but they promise to call when it's in. Come back a week later still no prescription. They called the doctor to let him know but never bothered to notify me. The attitude was very ridiculous too. As if it was crazy to expect that they would at least call to notify me. Worst ever!!!
