CVS-center square. I have an epileptic son whom needs meds every thirty days i can't refill his…read moremeds until that 30 day mark well I got told that his script was expired and that I have to get the doctor to call a new one in every knows it's hard to get a doctors attention. The fill in pharmacist told me per regulations I'm only aloud six pills and I told him that I'll can try to get a hold of the doctor but what am I supposed to do if I can't you know theoretically. the only thing he had to offer was take him to urgent care I said I can't and he says to him oh so you neglecting to take your kid for care I said no hes had epilepsy since he was 6 urgent care and the er will not give him meds and never will! He had nothing to say he just kept saying well per the rules and regular I can't give you any more meds so basically who cares if my son has seizure. like figure it out usually when the person is not on vacation she does it that's why it's been done since June. how do you fill something on time if you have to wait the 30 days to fill it??? I just don't get the rationale. he really could not answer the question either but sure did throw the rules and regulations up in my face is that a way to treat a customer??? what happened to the customer is always is right???

On the other side of Swedesboro, a CVS gem exists…read more I don't stop here nearly as often since it's a bit out of my way, but whenever I do, I can expect friendly service and an easy-to-navigate store. I was even greeted upon ENTERING the store the other day, which is rare to say the least. This is one of their newer locations with a spacious and well-planned interior. I recently stopped in on a chocolate hunt, but the specific chocolate bunny I wanted was not in stock. They were surprisingly nice in letting me down. I ended up choosing a different chocolate bunny and survived the situation. I also picked up some travel-sized items while here so I didn't look nutty for only buying a full basket of chocolate. The clerk asked where I was headed and then we had a long discussion about Italy as he rang me up. All in all -- a nice experience, and a break from the mundane, inferior service I usually experience at CVS locations. This store repairs my faith in the brand! To note: Exxon is on the other side of 322 and Wawa is directly across the street. It's a good stop if you're traveling down 322 from the bridge into SJ.

Taking a gander at all of the reviews on this CVS, I am quite confused as to other's experiences. I…read morecould totally see something negative happening if you over-demanded or had complex shopping requests, but on the whole, I have found this CVS to be reliable, quick during most visits, and relatively orderly. One plus is that they are pretty well staffed here. I've been to other CVS locations in the city, where you hit the button to ask for someone to help you open the Tylenol cabinet, only to wait for an inordinate amount of time before you have to walk all the way back up to the front to get the person yourself. You're able to get the help you need in almost every part of the store here. Granted, you're dealing with Philly folks, so they're not going to give you the nicest smile or friendliest service. But they'll help you out with what you ask, and frankly, when I'm coming to CVS, I'm not looking for the red carpet anyways so that's more than enough for me. Only knocks are probably the fact that aisles are often getting clogged up due to constant restocking happening. Not their problem honestly, because they're serving pretty continuous traffic opening to closing because of UPenn and Drexel nearby, so the fact that they're on top of inventory in the aisles instead of letting shelves stay empty is a good sign to me. Pharmacy folks are also helpful in the Philly fashion. Don't think I've had much of a wait ever, except for right after work, as expected, but even then they recently installed these partially self-serve kiosks within the past year that have greatly sped up prescription pick ups here. On the whole, I think you shouldn't believe all the revenge reviews happening here. This place is more than sufficient and above average for CVS locations in the city.

I'm updating my review & upgrading my rating, since I've been to CVS many times over the years…read more CVS has been consistently okay. They don't always have what I need, but many times they do. The employees are nice & helpful. The receipts are still way too long, which not only wastes paper, but also wastes time trying to rip off the extra coupons, throw them away, fold it all up & jam it into my bag. It's annoying, but it's a feature of every CVS I've been to, not this one in particular.
