Self serve drink area is available too including coffee, tea, iced coffee, and fountain sodas. The prices are on par for any convenience store. Less expensive that a turnpike stop or airport but more expensive than a grocery store for food goods. I grabbed a morning hash brown for $1.50. I felt bad for the employees because that is 100% some sort of OSHA violation. As someone with a law background I would be suing for unsafe working conditions. There was no ventilation or any kind of fans being used to defuse the smell. On top of that you have food and beverages out, so now what, I can taste the smell of paint in my food/drink. No one should have to work in those conditions. Construction and such was also going on. I do understand that being open 24/7 you have to make due, but did you hire the lowest bidder for the contract to save a few cents? Are you counting pennies now? Truck drivers come here to rest, refuel, and maybe enjoy a shower and they most certainly couldn't do the last one. I have heard of better places to stop in third world countries and that's saying something. The only positive I have about this stop were the employees I encountered. Whatever you are paying them, they should be getting hazard pay today from corporate or if this is independently owned, go into your pocket and help them out. I do want to note that I do not think any Convenience Store is a five star choice. That's just me but these stores that have limited items for sale are not gourmet destinations. That being said, I have to admit this was one of the very best convenience store experiences that I have ever had. The staff was ready ... the store was shiny clean ... and bargains were to be had. This store is larger then most Heritage locations but it does offer real deli service versus WAWA's pre-packaging of foods. I saw the woman make my breakfast sandwich and I watched deli meat being sliced the old fashioned way by hand not by factory. I will admit that Heritages are not totally convenient because all of their locations including this one close at 10pm. But if you want a "hoagie" and you are in West Deptford ... this is the Convenience store to get a fresh one made on a great roll. And, after my visit in the middle of the day ... this Heritages proved so popular that a coyote stopped by to check out all of the excitement.
