They have consistently gone above and beyond to advocate for me when insurance issues arise; ensure that I understand new drugs; and fill my scripts as soon as I need them. And John always takes the time to answer my questions over the phone when I've been prescribed new medication and need assurance about side effects, interactions, etc. They make me feel like family--I am lucky to be so cared for by the staff at Northeast Pharmacy! I've unfortunately moved away to a large city where the market is saturated by corporate pharmacies that simply don't cater to its customers the way a small business like Northeast Pharmacy can. This is a pretty standard CVS, but it's location is very convenient in respect to my parents condo when I'm out that way and it's 24 hours if I'm burning the midnight oil. They have a bunch of household essentials. They didn't have lock de-icer when I really needed it last month but I won't hold it against them too much. There were another couple of places that didn't have it either. That walk was brutal but eventually I got some and got back into my car and that's another story anyway. Service has always been decent, it's not too hard to get someone up at the register who seems decently awake and aware in the wee hours when I tend to roll in to grab a few things. And what do you know, it's terribly late right now and I'm out of stuff to write here. Whoever writes that sixth review can you do me a favor and message me on here? She did the scripts as fast as she could because she could see I was very uncomfortable. The pharmacist is Kurt but I'm sure she needs to be being the pharmacist. I'd probably come again IF I needed a script filled after hours. The only thing about CVS I don't like....It just seems so old! Idk maybe just me? Like it needs more lighting and more color.. Another vehicle pulled in behind us so no way to back up either and no signage to give us a clue. The vehicle in front received their script and pulled out. We pulled up to the window that they stuck the "Closed for Lunch" sign in. I spoke to the window saying we were in line at 1:25! They replied they were closed and that the registers shut down for that hour and there was nothing they could do and to "have a nice day". Do they even know what the acronym CVS stands for? I will tell you "Consumer value stores" originally but more recently CEO's have stated "Convenience, Value, and Service." Are they kidding! Time to find a new Pharmacy.

The man I spoke with was so incredibly rude and not helpful at all. He was rushing me, interrupting me as I was trying to answer the questions HE asked. He was acting like I was an inconvenience, and as someone who isn't feeling well, it isn't exactly something you want to be dealing with. I've had a few issues getting things covered with an out of state prescription under my new medical plan but they've been able to get it fixed. It really depends on who's working. Some of the staff seem more willing and able to help than others. When I had some minor outpatient surgery last month my doctor sent over three scripts and they were filled by that same evening. I was impressed with that and hopefully things continue to go smoothly.
