They don't answer the phones. I called over and over-no answer. Extremely frustrating especially when you're trying to get medication.

I purchased an antibiotic mouthwash from them recently, and somehow it wasn't properly diluted. It burnt and scorched the inside of my mouth. I returned it and they refused to do anything about it and wanted me to report it somehow. When I said, I just wanted to return it and didn't even want my money back. They said legally they could not take it back. But they decided to do absolutely nothing about this so if they have something that is not properly diluted or put together in their pharmacy, they will do nothing about it. The staff in both the pharmacy and the front are amazing! Very hard workers! Very clean too! Definitely would recommend this pharmacy to do my shopping and for my meds. I walked up to drop off my prescription and had to stand there for a minute while the employee finished chatting with another customer about how much they hated their job. Don't worry though, the customer is going to be looking around for a new job for him. When they finished scheming his exit to 'better' employment I walked up to hand him my prescription. Without looking for what I was there for or hesitation, the dude asks, "Are you dropping off?" I respond, "yes."(no fucking shit bro) He then informed me that "they wouldn't be able to get to this until Saturday (2 days away)" because they were just too busy. For me. Not my prescription since he never looked down at what I needed. "If you need this right away you should go somewhere else ... sorry." ... I contacted Rite Aid. They said they would have a manager contact me. I told them the store can reply publicly online. The resolution Rite Aid has is that a 'manager' will contact me and I still won't / don't have the medication I need. Oh, I know you guys are busy. Fucking hire more people then, dumbasses! It seems that a week and a half is an average for getting a prescription filled. I wish they would advise people of this fact instead of being high dudgeon when people are concerned with how long people have to wait for medicine. Pharmacies are no longer trusted or reliable. Rite Aid is not serving the community at all. I look forward to some lickspittle from Rite Aid replying to this review with some meaningless apology. Don't bother. Instead why don't you hire more people, pay them a living wage and actually serve this community. read more

One of the mai reasons I chose to do business with this pharmacy was for the convenience and safety of the drive up window. The drive up has been closed for far too long and the wait time is ridiculously long. I have called to get information on my prescription and the line redirects right b to the same number in a continuous loop. It has been explained that they are short on employees regarding the drive-up window, but the phone should at least have an answering system or an operator who can take a message. On the positive side, the employees are polite and friendly. the prescriptions are accurate and seem to be of good quality. My time is valuable to me and I have had better luck with Safeway Pharmacy with regard to being able to contact the pharmacy by phone and have a competent representative to be able to help me with my questions. It would seem that would be better for me to go back to Safeway if I have to wait in a long line due to this reason. read more

I had a vaccination appointment card with a date to come back in for my daughters 2nd dose. We had to driver 1 hr to come and get the appointment. After coming in, they turned us down because they changed the e policy that we had to call in to get an appointment time. Such a disappointment and total lack of empathy for screwing up on their end and not giving my daughter her shot. read more

They have a really cute pharmacist, but this is probably one of the most stupid the run businesses I've ever had the displeasure of using. Their front end staff are rude, and have no idea what they're talking about, and don't even know what time the pharmacy opens, so don't expect to get any relevant information from anybody here, other than the cute pharmacist who is actually very nice and seems willing to go the extra mile, too bad he is surrounded by idiots. This location has screwed me so many times, I've lost count. From not feeling the proper amount of medication, to giving wrong pills, to switching from generic brand name without telling anybody, to their front end staff being clueless, I'm going to request my doctor switch my prescriptions to anywhere else. I suggest you do the same and avoid the store like the plague. read more

I have had good luck with Rite Aid Pharmacy for the past several years. HOWEVER....the past 6 months or so...service has plummeted downward drastically. TODAY was the 4th month in a row now that I have NOT BEEN ABLE TO PICK UP MY PRESCRIPTION. Each filling is good for 1 month....30 days .... and then HAS TO BE REFILLED. I'm on the automatic refill program and am supposed to be notified when it's done & ready for pick up. Got a call yesterday that my prescription was ready. Went in today....they had one refilled alright, but it was the wrong one. I already have an additional 2 months here at home since last time they gave me a 3 month supply. THEN I WAS TOLD THAT THE ONE I ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE TONITE won't be done for at least another 2 hours. I have an appointment that I need to go to & will be gone until after it's too late to pick up. I have been a loyal Rite-Aid customer for a good number of years....but this does it. My prescription business will be changed to another pharmacy here in town. WHY ON EARTH CAN'T THEY READ THE DATES ON THE MEDICATION, FIGURE OUT THE NUMBER OF DAYS IN THE MONTH, AND HAVE IT READY TO GO SO THAT THERE'S NO PROBLEM WITH THE DISTRIBUTION DATES?? read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I don't know what's going on with this pharmacy. I called in a prescription via automated refill on 9/29 and have never gotten a text or call that it is ready, automated status says "cannot be determined". I have been trying to call and speak with a live person for 4 days, calling many times a day and they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! I am out of my prescription completely and cannot get an answer as to the status of this refill. If I could give negative stars I would. I have used this pharmacy for years but it has gone way downhill and I will be refilling elsewhere. AVOID THIS PHARMACY. read more

Dealing with the Rite Aid pharmacy is always a hassle. Prescriptions are never ready. My doctor faxed one to them yesterday and they claimed they never got it. If this was a one time slip up I could understand, but with almost every prescription there is a problem. They are inefficient and they bridge on being rude. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy I've ever been to! Have 5 perscriptions and signed up for Auto refill with free delivery. Last couple of months they've not answered their phones at all (I've called at least 30 times) phone disconnects you, you might get a busy signal or you get into a loop that goes forever! Finally got them filled then the delivery got cancelled for some reason and I couldn't get through the phones to ask if I needed to pick them up or were they still going to be delivered. Finally went to the drive thru and got them. Decided to give them one more try.... so here I set with no more medication and they aren't answering their phone. I'm done. I will NEVER shop there again or send them any perscriptions. I only gave them one star because there wasn't anything lower, don't go there, you'll be sorry. read more

Rarely a joy, but the pharmacy is the worst. Every time it's slow, at least twenty minutes. Several times the prescription wasn't ready, and I once waited forty five minutes! The customer service, even elsewhere, is usually glum. Kind of a bummer overall. read more

The old locations pharmacy could be very slow if there was a line of customers because there was only one person helping customers. Rite Aid moves to the new location and adds a drive thru, plus 2 counters inside yet still only have 1 person helping customers, nice logic corporate! Now you can count on at least 15 minutes of waiting and believe me, if it's only 15 minutes that's a good trip, wether you choose the drive thru or go inside. I have to wonder if corporate got some pointers from the VA to help them set up this train wreck of an idea! read more

My family is in the process of moving pharmacies from Rite Aid because of the horrific customer service we have recently experienced. Not only does the staff appear to be undertrained, when we talked to the pharmacist about some troubling mistakes that were made we were literally told "I'm not interested in talking about mistakes my staff makes." This was after we were told "to err is human" which we found to be very disturbing coming from a profession where errors have been known to kill people. We were screamed at, dismissed, berated, and overall abused by the staff in the pharmacy while other customers waited for their prescriptions. If I could give less than one star I most certainly would. Would absolutely NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

Me and my friends were wanting to turn in cans and bottles but had to wait for 30 minutes before they opened the door. Once they finally opened the door we told her we had all our cans counted and sorted and had 144 per person. However she wanted us to individually count them when we have always just put them in for 2 years. Then about 20 cans in, she said that there was a partly crushed can that they couldn't take. She also said that they were doing a "service by even accepting cans". For one, it's the law that without a bottle drop within a certain distance they are legally obligated to take cans including crushed cans. They can be presented in any bag and as long as they are not heavily dirty or have a substance other than water or the original substance. Second, she was very unreasonable and rude with a sassy attitude and made us waste our time to here her nasty attitude and being unreasonable. Third, she stated that "the management won't allow crushed cans", so either she was told a lie or she told us a lie. Overall, she was a terrible employee and hope that Rite Aid sees this and takes some action. I understand she was probably tired and had little patience after a long day but that is NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS! read more

When our insurance changed recently, we had to switch pharmacies. Rite Aid was close so I chose them. Huge mistake. Before the switch, I went in and asked the pharmacy staff how best to transfer our Rxs, and brought the empty bottles in as instructed by the Rite Aid staff. They assured me they would handle the transfer from there. Two weeks later, we still only have one of those prescriptions filled. Unacceptable. I have been in or called nearly every day since, and still we have only one refilled. One time I called in and they told me the second prescription was finally ready to be picked up and the man apologized for it taking so long. No... after I drove all the way down there they had no idea what I was talking about. The staff has been rude, argumentative, dismissive, slow and today the pharmacist hung up on me. They will not be getting my business ever again. read more

You can count on a 15-minute wait for service at the pharmacy counter whether inside or at the drive through. They appear to be woefully understaffed most times I've been there. This store has to be amongst the most ineptly run operation I've ever encountered. Last night I called to see if an item that was listed on their website was in stock at their location (10 count Advil tablets in a white plastic travel tube), and after being assured that it was, I requested that two of these items be set aside waiting for me up front at the counter. I was told by Francisco, the supervisor, that it would be there waiting for me. It wasn't. An hour later I came in to make my purchase and Francisco informed me in the most disinterested way that it wasn't behind the counter. The assistant manager was clueless about it also as he tried to deflect my criticism about this issue. Both exhibited a level of casual apathy, lack of empathy and a total incompetence which was appalling. They were utterly indifferent to the casual lying and discourtesy they displayed toward a customer. They simply could not have cared less and were perfectly comfortable doing as little as possible to inconvenience themselves. Well, some of us DO care. I'll never shop there again and I recommend that others do the same. read more

I went to get my prescriptions fill for the first time here, and it was the worst decision I had ever made. I waited more than ten minutes on the drive through, when I complained to the pharmacist why wasn't there any more help, she replied to me, "talk to corporate" what the heck?? What kind customer service is that??? Secondly they got my order wrong! So I went inside and waited another 15 minutes on line while this poor lady Shirley did all herself! I talked to an assistant manager but left very frustrated! Never coming back here again I move all my medications to Albertsons sooo much better!! read more

I am only leaving one star because it won't let me leave none. These people lie, are rude and incredibly disrespectful. 40 minutes after the original 30 minutes my moms prescription was supposed to take I complained. THEN they started on it. The bitchy lady handling the register when she wasn't ignoring it for the drive thru then proceeded to tell every other customer that "some people think this a MacDonalds". An additional 20 minutes later we finally got our prescription. Recommend customer service classes and a thing called accountability. read more

If there was a selection for minus five stars, this Rite Aid would get it.They tell you that you are required to give them your phone number so they can call you if there is a problem with your prescription. Well that's a load. They don't call you when there is a problem, and when you drive thirty minutes one way to pick the Rx up, "There is a problem with your Rx and it hasn't been filled." (This, after two weeks and several phone calls to the pharmacy to clear up their mistakes AND the pharmacy saying it had been filled and was ready) To make matters worse, a week later my husband was terribly sick and the Rx he was prescribed was so potent he had to hand deliver it. We were told when we arrived that they only had enough of the medicine to fill half the Rx. Okay, we said, let's do it because I needed to get him home for bed rest. TWO hours later, and after handing the Rx back and forth to them !!THREE TIMES!! (They told us at one point that it wasn't Rx, we had to get it off the shelf) we got the full Rx since the guy was mistaken about their inventory. Holy Smokes what a bunch of incompetent buffoons! We will never go back and I recommend that you don't transfer your Rx or even start there! You would be better served absolutely ANYWHERE else. read more
