This is by far the worst grocery store in McMinnville, and it all comes down to terrible management. Whoever is running this place clearly has no idea how to run a store. At 5 o'clock rush hour, when the store is packed, they'll have one check stand open. Customers are left standing in long lines while the manager pinches pennies instead of staffing properly. I've even spoken with multiple cashiers who told me directly how bad it is to work here. They say the store is horribly understaffed and that management is the reason. On top of that, shelves are often empty, items aren't restocked, and any specials or deals are gone within minutes because they never keep enough in stock. This store is consistently a frustrating experience, and I blame the poor leadership. I avoid shopping here whenever I can. read more

Good golly Miss Molly I had no idea a bagel could be as hard as the ones purchased at Albertson's. I used to think Winco would have sketchy baked good but no, opposite! I have a high quality bread knife and cutting through these little blonde and seeded hockey pucks is like, well, cutting through a hockey puck. (I've never actually tried that but...) And then there are the prices! Sky high. Paying more for inferior quality is not my style. If I wish to pay exorbitant prices I can always go to Zupan. read more

I just wanted to take a moment to thank STEPHANIE!!! THANK YOU STEPHANIE... for being so good at your job. You are amazing with customers, you know you position. You stand near the entrance which has to be chilly and still you create a warmth to the grocery check-out process that I can promise y'all, isn't typically present. My local Albertsons in McMinnville has the nicest store Manager Ryan D. and the employees there are attentive, helpful, kind and always smiling. I enjoy going there. The Albertsons App & the sales as-well as digital coupons are so HELPFUL. With an unknown future and the changes we all face, I oddly feel better knowing that I have a local grocery store that cares the way McMinnville Albertsons does.... I'm absolutely serious about it. Stopped by here to get a few things before heading home. Because of the current circumstances, I felt good about going into the store. Everyone was wearing Masks. Everything was marked to keep people 6 feet apart. I tried to be quick. To get in and out as fast as possible. I feel fine, but you never know. A handy grocery on the edge of town. Great stop on my way to Sheridan. I alternate between here and Roth's Market, which is across the street. This one is not cheap but better than the selection within the city limits of Sheridan. They have the u scan line, which is sometimes trouble because the cashier monitoring those isn't always paying attention and you often will wait longer than when you go through the regular line. Also, at night they lock one door but they don't put up a sign so you step on the belt expecting it to open and look like a tool when it doesn't. Yeah, I know why they do it. Just clue the rest of us in on it. read more

I came here last night 5/1/18 for shopping. I used to shop at Safeway on the other end of town, but the costomer service has gone way down hill and had some problems with some employee's there. It seems like every time they have a sale on things in there store they run out quick because they didn't order enough. Trying to find an employee after hours working on the floor in the evenings is next to impossible, and had to make a couple complaints to the corprate office. Now that the weekly ads are the same, I will now do all of my shopping here. It seems like every time I come here I receive great customer service, and when something goes on sale they always have it in stock. I will never shop Safeway again! read more

I worked for Safeway, which is basically the same company, and so I understand the problems employees are up against when they work here. However, they can still try to be more amicable and deliver better service. Last night was a great experience for me. They helped me out with purchasing stuff, and we had a pleasant conversation. My main issue with stores like Albertson's and Safeway is that they carry too many products, and they generally have lower quality service than other stores like Roth's, Trader Joe's, or Costco. And the products are not always healthy and rarely local. I shop here for convenience and don't make a habit of it. Some people are super helpful, and some of them are not. read more

I live in Mac now, but have only been in here twice. Why? 1. It was within walking distance from the motel, 2. It was the only thing open on New Year's Day within walking distance from the motel, 3. This store is just okay...when you need to just stop and grab the basics... I do not really care for their meat department, the items always look old and not fresh and I feel like they have been sitting in the glass butcher case for days... They are always out of several items that I like to purchase or they just have one left. I feel they could do a better job with ordering and stocking their shelves. When the Monopoly game was going on I would frequent this Albertsons and they never seemed to have the item I would win or have a coupon for so that was discouraging. But if you just need some laundry soap, beer or milk they gotcha! read more

The bakery at this store gets the 5 stars for their wonderful service & attitude when I ordered & picked up a birthday cake. The cake was gorgeous. I then asked for a personal cupcake to be made for me & Cindy the cake decorator (who was busy) stopped what she was doing & with a fantastic attitude make a monster high cupcake for my granddaughter. My granddaughter loved it! Thank you to the women at the bakery and the cake was delicious! read more

I MAY BAN THIS STORE. You have to watch the cashiers like a hawk or they will overcharge you. I requested $40 cash back tonight, got all the way home before realizing she didn't give it to me. So I don't have proof. i have a broken wrist and recently had surgery. Money is tight. They need to take my word since I can't drive now and have to wait for someone to take me wherever I go. Pharmacy employees are rude and condescending and there are never enough cashiers. I've been in line with 10 other customers. They can't call another checker because they don't have any after 7 pm and the customer service desk is closed too. read more

This store is in a handy location, but most time I shop here (especially this morning) I feel like I'm interrupting the cashiers from having their personal conversations by attempting to buy groceries there.
