The pharmacy is great here. They are efficient at both filling my scripts and processing me at pick up. The one time I had to talk to a pharmacist she was very helpful. Items for the non-drug part are a different story. Lots of empty shelves, but still a nice place to stop for your pharmacy needs. read more

The Concord State Street store's Pharmacy is terrible. Prescriptions are never ready in a reasonable time and are always "20 minutes" when it is usually a lot longer. Even my Doctor suggested I use CVS instead of this particular Concord Rite Aid. read more

south street concord new hampshire. The rudest slowest group I've ever seen. I work and I do not feel like waiting in a 20 person line, figured drive through would be quickest... wrong. Went in after seeing the person in-front of me literally hit the button 4 times, I asked him have they even talked you? He said no... I went in and proceeded to ask why am I sitting for 30 mins when the person in front of me hasn't even been talked to? I said you have 3 people inside!? I got yelled at by the old lady that was "working" the drive thru as well as in line.. then I have 5 pharmacist assistants and manager asking what the issue was, even though the person who I was i was actually dealing with was talking decent, yet they all threatened me to call cops and just move me to another pharmacy. Yet the older lady kept yelling and starting things all over, I told her I'm not talking to you. I told them if this os going to be how it is i wa t to change pharmacies, youre all horrible. I would like to give a shout out to Denise and Karen of Store 10273 in Salem, New Hampshire. Denise is at the checkout and is very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. When you ask questions of Denise she is always extremely helpful. Karen is placing items on shelves as well as being cashier and is very helpful when you can't find something or need prices etc. Both employees are wonderful to deal with. My husband and I had a terrible experience at the 165 N State St, Concord, NH 03301 location. We live just around the block from this pharmacy and have visited for years, but we don't think we'll return after this terrible experience. We scheduled, both of us, a COVID and flu show combination, taking up two 20-minute appointment slots from 9:20 and 9:40 a.m. on 10-3-23. There were no lines. It was quiet. We were greeted at the pharmacy counter almost right away. Our vaccine cards were checked, and then we were told to sit and wait. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes, past my appointment and into my husband's appointment. We make appointments, and Rite Aid takes appointments: we're busy, and so are pharmacists. Get people in, get people out. We waited and waited. Nothing. Then the pharmacist or whoever gave out vaccines, the one in the white coat, asked me for my insurance card without even apologizing for the wait. I took out the insurance card I've used before at this very pharmacy for the same exact thing (vaccines). He said it wasn't enough, that I needed a pharmacy card. I was furious. Not only did I have to get back to work for a meeting at 10 a.m., but the insurance card wasn't good enough anymore. I frantically tried to locate other cards in my wallet, any card that said "pharmacy coverage" on it, to no avail. As I had waited so long past my time, I had to leave promptly. I didn't receive an apology or empathy for the time wasted or my situation. The pharmacist in the white coat just said, "Nah, can't help you". When my husband said, "Yeah, I'm skipping too", out of respect for my time no doubt, the pharmacist just said "ok", in a monotone, uncaring voice. With both of us un-vaccinated and feeling upset and short on time, we left. When I got home, I had my meeting and immediately called my insurance. They said the pharmacist did it wrong, and I did indeed have coverage for the pharmacy. She explained what the pharmacist should've done. She called the same pharmacy for me and checked with them, and the pharmacy said everything was checked out. Suddenly, the problem wasn't a problem; it was just a mistake with no apology and no care for our time. My insurance told me to call them up and reschedule. So, I did, and I got one of the women who initially checked us in (not the white coat pharmacist). She said, "Yup...." when I mentioned the insurance issue, without any sincerity in her voice. I then asked if we could get rebooked, and she went on to explain how "we have appointments in 20-minute intervals, and we're booked, sorry". Oh, 20-minute intervals? What does that say for the 25 to 30 minutes my husband and I waited through, sitting through an ENTIRE appointment scheduled in advance online half a week prior? You don't say! When I said, "Well, my insurance just told me to call you to check about scheduling again today after this mess up", the woman pharmacist just let out a disrespectful sigh, expressing frustration, yacked about how you have to make appointments online ONLY, and that's that. AKA, we're too busy to fix this mistake and make you feel respected, and we don't have time to be courteous to you in person or over the phone. Look, we know everything is stressed with everything in life, work or personal, but there's NO EXCUSE to be this rude, short, and disrespectful. This isn't the first instance we've felt this way at Rite Aid at this location, but you can guarantee that my husband and I are sick and tired of getting treated like this, having our time wasted, and getting shooed off without any professionalism, respect, or empathy. This might even be the last time we visit a Rite Aid for shots. read more

What a terrible terrible drugstore! This has been my experience at most Rite Aids, however The right aid located at North State Street in Concord New Hampshire seems to consistently be the worst of the worst. The individuals working behind the pharmacy counter are always rude, judgmental, talk down to you, and display a weird sort of power trip. You can count on Rite Aid not having your Rx ready after promising that it is ready to be picked up. If by chance you do end up getting a medication "filled" BE SURE TO COUNT IT RIGHT THERE ON THE COUNTER IN FRONT OF THEM! These Rite Aid employees tend to enjoy taking a few or even half of your Rx home with them and once you leave the pharmacy, you have no recourse for recovering these missing/ stolen meds! They do not care or have any sympathy or try to make a situation right after they messed up. So when you get left without your meds do not expect anything more than the blame game from those behind the counter, first trying to blame you and even their own co-workers! This store and Rite Aids in general will leave you frustrated, without your medication, and feeling mistreated. Especially if you have certain types of medications, you can expect these people to try and make you feel like you have done something wrong or at least will try to ruin your day. Please take all the necessary precautions of you are forced to use Rite Aid - I am going out of my way and traveling further to use a pharmacy that respects their customers and has a sense of professionalism. read more

Waited forever at driveup ( I have difficulty walking) only to find out they no longer have me on file and need my prescription card which I didn't Hsve on me--- would have saved 1/2 hr if I knew at original drive up time! read more
