I highly recommend Attorney Patricia Ann Morris if you are in need of a true civil servant. I…read moredealt with a very traumatic custody case regarding my grandchild that required expertise in the law, as well as empathy for the lives of people that I truly love. She handled both with such grace and balance that everyone was happy in the end although it was an unpleasant situation we found ourselves in. If you want an attorney who truly loves what they do and cares about people, you will not go wrong with Attorney Morris and everyone on her staff. I met with several other attorney offices before choosing her and I thank God everyday that I found her. We won the case and we still walked away with our family in tact. All that she did and the way she handled everything was invaluable. I will be forever grateful that I chose her to handle my case. Attorney Morris has great people skills and never rushes you. Her office team reflects the same caring professionalism as she does. Attorney Morris' way of solving any problems that crop up along the way, and they will, were always resolved in a caring expeditious way. I was so grateful to have her on my side. Although this was a very painful, stressful and emotional time, it worked out well for all and largely it's because we had the right attorney on our side. If you want a great attorney who is caring, professional and has immense knowledge of the law, in and out of the courtroom - you won't be disappointed if you choose Attorney Morris. I'll sign this - forever thankful. NMC

James Sidney Jones Attorney At Law

DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON WITH YOUR LIFE AT ALL COSTS…read more About two and a half months ago, a case that he took on for me after our previous lawyer shafted us was resolved. Me and my family were assaulted by police in a hospital after they refused to acknowledge my mother's appeal. We thought he would be better because he immediately said multiple things he would do that our previous lawyer never even mentioned. He even said he would take on my mother's case against the police department for her. However, things started to unravel quickly. Just like our previous lawyer, he wouldn't respond to texts and calls, only met us in person twice(which nothing of substance came from as he eventually gave a lackluster "defense" using little to no information that we gave him, and I will mention more on that later on), and he then suddenly did a 180 and went from telling us he would definitely win me and my mother's cases to saying that he can't win and that I need to take a deal. When we asked him about the sudden change in tone and said we wanted to go to trial he immediately became confrontational and aggressive, saying that he was raising his costs. Weeks passed by as he did nothing but go on vacations, then he suddenly contacts us two days before the trial asking us for testimony and witnesses that we gave him multiple times before that. During the first day of the trial, he finally called his private investigator asking her to find one of the eyewitnesses we told him about and she was annoyed, saying to him, "Why did you wait so long?" and "You really dropped the ball on this one". She told us privately later that day that in all her years of working with attorneys that she had never seen one that was this terrible on a case. The second day of the trial, before going into the courtroom, he slapped my mother's hand and yelled at her when she tried to show him something about the case on her phone. He told my sister to go into the courtroom and take notes of everything which he knew would get her in trouble with the court, and then when the judge asked him if he told her to do that, he said he didn't know she was taking notes, and gave the judge and prosecutors cause to remove my sister from the courtroom. When the court took a break, he walked up to my sister and thanked her for not "calling him out". Also, as my family that were waiting in the lobby told me and once when I saw it myself, he went into the bathroom with several people on the prosecutors' side several times throughout the days that the trial took place. My father eventually went in and heard them talking and when they noticed him, they stopped speaking. When giving his defense, he(I believe intentionally) made mistakes that gave the judge and prosecutor cause to stop him from being able to use the prosecutors witnesses' testimonies against them and from being able to present evidence of his own to the jury, not to mention that he was still goading me into taking a plea deal every day, which I did after he failed to present evidence that would've proved my innocence. He immediately cut ties with our former agreements and contracts, including taking my mother's case against the police department, before leaving the court. I fully believe that he was working with the judge and prosecutors against me for his own gain, even bringing my family members into situations that they shouldn't have been involved in, just to prevent me from getting justice while he got away scot-free. He fully deserves to never be able to practice law again, playing with people's lives the way he did ours. EDIT: Notice the aggressive response he gave. "You went through 3 lawyers", he and the aforementioned lawyer are the only attorneys I had throughout the case, the court records show that. "I don't like you or your family either" I never mentioned like or dislike, I only stated facts and my final conclusion on this individual, and it seems I was not wrong, as he did not address any of the issues I mentioned throughout this review, and instead opted for confrontation. I should also mention that he advertises fighting civil rights cases, and his defense for my case was based on racial bias, then when I left a review of him on another site, he responded with "I don't like you or your family either".
