My mom, grandma, mother-in-law, and 2 bridemaids came with me to help find my dress and I'm happy to share that I said "Yes to the Dress". The overall experience was seamless from making my appointment on the phone with Virginia to the receiving a follow-up call and email to ensure that everything was ready for me ahead of my appointment from my Bridal Consultant Lou Lou, who is AMAZING! I was welcomed immediately and made to feel appreciated and taken care from the moment I entered the door. I live a few blocks away from the bridal shop and always walk by it on my way to City Centre so when I got engaged this summer, I obviously wanted to ensure that I had an appointment set up here, especially knowing that I always had seen beautiful dresses on display on their window. I also liked what I had seen on their website. I was treated like a princess and felt like one when trying on my dresses. There is a wide assortment of dresses and designers across price ranges as this place was a lot bigger than I thought once inside. From the start I had a Calla Blanche dress in mind and low and behold, the first dress I tried on and chose was a Calla Blanche, although different than the one I had seen online. I maybe tried on 8 dresses or so and Lou Lou helped me narrow down my options via process of elimination. I explained to her the style I was looking for, budget, and she made sure we had a great assortment of dresses to try on and have fun with. By the time it came to choosing my dress, I may have tried it on 3 times and loved it more each time. (Even got a bit emotional so I knew it was the one). Funny enough it wasn't even the style I thought I had in mind, which is why you must try these on! My family and friends were made to feel very comfortable and welcomed also which I appreciated. The space is comfortable and clean inside. There was one other bride also trying on dresses at the same time but she was on the other side of me and did not interfere with my experience so no concerns there. I had a lot of fun. I had a nice dressing room and Lou Lou there to help with each dress and the clips + got to see my dress at all stages of the day with the mirror that changes lighting. It was pretty neat. Lou Lou was the ultimate hype woman and got my family & friends engaged in the process too - she announced me each time, had the music going, it was fun. I had a feeling I would find my dress here and am happy to say that I did. The only thing that stings a bit is that I went wayyyyy over budget with the dress and the "looks". The dress itself was within budget but I was upsold on an additional piece that really did make the dress and look extra "WOW" but I maybe could have done without. I can also blame my family and friends for their reactions, they loved it. So I'm not too upset about it and am excited to walk down the aisle in it and hope my fiancé also goes "WOW" :). I can't wait to try on my dress in a few months. For those brides purchasing kindly note the sale price is final so be 100% sure and alteration price is not included. I found this place on a whim while completing other errands in the area. I stopped in to find a bridesmaid gown for my best friend's wedding. All I had for stipulations were a color and a designer. As soon as I stepped in; I was greeted by a young woman who was friendly, eager and willing to bend over backwards (and did!) to assist me in finding the perfect gown. With just the little information I offered, she rushed upstairs and pulled a dozen different gowns she thought would look best. Great taste! I selected a handful of them from her selections to try on. She was right there to offer assistance putting on/taking off each and every gown to ensure that I felt comfortable and "fit" into each one. Her and her uncle (who owns the place) gave me unbelievable one-on-one attention and were honest and complimentary without being pushy in any way. I was able to let my guard down, enjoy my experience and weigh all of my options with no pressure! I never see this in a bridal salon. I have always felt like they're pressing a sale! I was even split between two gowns and the girl and the owner suggested I take photos, show them to the bride, go home and sleep on it and call them back when I was ready to order. She took my photo (front and back in both dresses for me!) I'm not living in the area, but they measured me and took my information just in case I called back, so that they could order as soon as I was ready to go! They told me I wouldn't have to make the trip back down. I am calling on Monday to order my dress (now that the bride and my fiancé favored the same one of the two final gown contenders as me!) and I am so excited to be giving my business to a deserving and wonderful family! They were willing and able to tailor my dress exactly how I wanted. I basically felt like my dress was handmade for me. Each time I came in with a new request I was greeted with a smile. After making appointments with two well known bridal shops in NYC, I learned about Rebecca's designs and knew I had to try them on. As a plus sized bride, I had a lot of apprehension about stores not having options that would work for my body. But every dress in her collection comes in size 00-30! When I arrived for my appointment, I was in excellent hands with experienced design consultants Rose and Ellen. They were so patient and fun guiding me through trying on a bunch of different dresses - including several mix and match options! I was surprised by the dress I ended up falling in love with (the Shannon gown) but I felt so beautiful in it and Rose and Ellen really went above and beyond. I also just want to shout out the location - if you're located in NYC, you can take the Metro North straight there, and I mean literally straight to the studio. When you get off the train (45 min ride), it's a short walk through a super cute former industrial area that's now all restaurants and little shops, and the studio is right on the Hudson. Their selection is great -- lots of different styles and many options that are different from what you see in other stores. Haley was so knowledgeable, patient and professional. She took all of my "must haves" or "don't wants" very seriously, and then offered additional options and feedback and encouraged me to try on dresses I might otherwise have overlooked but LOVED. Before finding Chique Boutique, I drove nearly two hours from my home to visit a large, highly reputable prom and Sweet 16 dress store. I had called ahead specifically to ask whether they carried dresses for my very petite teenage daughter and was assured that they had plenty of options in her size. After making the long drive, an uninterested young salesperson showed us only three dresses and offered very little help. My daughter was completely disheartened, and we were both exhausted and disappointed. We began searching online for another store and came across Chique Boutique. I called, and a very kind gentleman answered the phone. After I explained what had happened, he immediately reassured me, saying, "Tell your daughter not to be upset. If we do not have the dress in her size, we will order it or customize it to fit her. We will get her the exact dress she wants." That conversation gave us so much hope that we drove the two hours back toward Chique Boutique--and I am so thankful that we did. From the moment we entered the store, we were warmly welcomed by Nicole, one of the owners. She immediately began talking with my daughter about what she wanted, the colors she liked, and how she envisioned herself looking for her Sweet 16. Within moments, Nicole brought out dozens of beautiful gowns for her to try on and repeatedly assured her that they would make sure she received the correct size, no matter what. We were promptly notified and scheduled for a fitting. The seamstress was equally amazing. She was kind, warm, patient, and friendly. It truly felt as though we were talking with family. I am beyond grateful that we found Chique Boutique. And even though the company says they are size inclusive, at the store level it is very limited to try on. The store is trying to get organized and improve but they have a big mountain to climb. They are understaffed and weekends must be avoided at all costs (pure chaos). But I do want to thank Nancy, Hayley, Kai, Evelyn and Rebecca for your help.

When searching for my wedding gown, I went to 12 different bridal shops in 3 different cities. Eventually, I found a dress I LOVED at the Pronovias store on 5th Avenue in NYC. It was soft, romantic, and had great movement. However, because I spotted it at the flagship store in Manhattan, I felt it was likely overpriced (not to mention - I felt somewhat uncomfortable in that stuffy bridal shop.) After doing some Google searching, I contacted Rana Bridal in Englewood, NJ. Not only did Rana have the same dress at a better price - she was available that same day for me to come in and try it on. After taking the subway to a ferry to an Uber, I made it to Rana's shop. She was pleasant from the start and helped me decide on a few tweaks to the dress. I wasn't sure about a nude skirt lining, though I liked the detail in the nude bodice. She assured me she could swap out the lining. The original dress had a higher neck, but Rana told me she could tweak the lace to give me a lower cut. In short, that first afternoon with Rana was WELL worth the extra effort to get out to New Jersey and we ordered the Pronovias dress that week! In the months following I had several more fittings with Rana. Her shop was always clean and organized, our appointments always started on our time, and she was always very friendly and accommodating (she even picked me up at the ferry once or twice!). Above all, Rana's handiwork was simply perfection. She changed out the lining, trimmed the many, MANY layers of my skirt to the perfect length, and tweaked the bodice until we were both happy with the new design. She even helped me pick out a veil on Etsy and trimmed that to better suit my look. In the end, my dress fit like a glove and I could NOT have been happier. Even now, months after my wedding, I'm emotional just thinking about it! Getting married is such a fun, exciting time, but of course it can be stressful! I was so grateful that I never needed to worry about my dress. You are in good hands working with Rana. I cannot recommend her enough!
