We had the seafood spaghetti to start along with the jumbo prawns and beef tenderloin which were both really good. Whereas our friends had the carbonara to start and had fried seafood platter and trout for main which were nothing to shout home about. Garda Town is not brilliant if your looking for fine dining, but the ambience was really nice as we were nestled outside in an alley way and the service was really good. Would definitely recommend for meal if your staying in the town, but again choose carefully and you'll be just fine.

After our meal we asked about dessert but no one ever told us the options, ultimately my husband had to track someone down to pay our bill. Overall a far from spectacular night out.

Menu and vine list could be more extensive in relation to the restaurant level. Not all the table are facing on the lake, some of them are set in front of the backyard. Therefore if you'll reserve a table don't forget to ask for a good location of your table, it makes here all the difference! Served dishes were in fact of high quality, but in some cases to pretentious and in some other cases to elementary, anyway not at the level they you could ask for the requested price. If I'll have a first date dinner in my next live, I'll surly come back here hoping to seduce her also with the beautiful atmosphere. You can't sit on the water while the lake laps at the stone while the sun sets and it's like 20 degrees and a balmy breeze ruffles your hair and whispers sweet nothings in your ear and then a 10 Euro bottle of stonkingly good house white arrives followed by spaghetti with clams and grilled lake trout and a fruit de mer risotto packed with so much seafood Japan has sent a ship to try and commandeer it. We found this place and thought pizza sounded great, so we went for it. The server was really friendly, and like many tourist towns, he seem to speak every language in Europe. After starting with Italian and moving into German, he finally settled on English for us (although he tried a bit of French later as well). We both got the beef carpaccio with truffle and shaved parmesan (because truffle) and a pizza with a spicy sausage and blue cheese (that's each because we're crazy and order the same things). So the carpaccio was really delicious. Thinly sliced, melt in your mouth with plenty of truffles and cheese. The pizzas were also really amazing as the gorgonzola really went with the spicy sausage. We then opted to get a glass of grappa at the end (as you do), and they brought out the longest bottle known to man to pour into our tiny glasses. He accidentally poured way too much into my partner's glass, so I think we got more than we should have. And it turned out to be only 5 Euros a glass, so we got a great deal. It's definitely a bit touristy, but well worth the shenanigans to get a great pizza meal with some great service.

When we got there late there were no tables outside and we enjoyed the air conditioned inside restaurant also well hidden.
