A lot of classics, the chef/owner is a German who worked in Rome for a while. The staff is great, friendly and laid back, but very professional. The arugula Salad was large and had a fresh, light, citrus dressing, the antipasti plate was delicious. one of us had a swordfish carpaccio and one of us tried an interesting risotto with cabbage. The Arabbiata was perfectly spicy. Certainly everything was a cut above the usual Italian place in Munich. We didn't try desserts, but had some great wines at very reasonable prices. We have been in once or twice for a drink at their bar and are looking forward to the Terrace in spring. There is also a short take out menu we've used sometimes later in the evening. Definitely recommend this place

I used to live about 100m from this place and, in over two years never visited once. Now that we…read morehave moved away from here, we decided to give it a try. One of the few places in the area, open on a Sunday afternoon. It's a reasonably large restaurant that could seat 50-70 people. They have a pizza counter and of course a full menu of options for starters, pasta, meat, fish and desserts. We decided to order the antipasti teller and it was ok. Loads of olive oil and lacking in flavour or punch. My main course was a pasta dish with clams. I have had this dish so many times in lots of restaurants and it was ok. Lacked the intense flavour I am used to with this dish and, I had to add salt and chili to get it a bit of punch. The creme caramel I had was also ok, nothing special. Service here is good however, speaking Italian alone does not make for good service. The staff were busy watching something on television and seemed a bit distracted by it. I may come back here again. Given the choice of fabulous Italian restaurants in the area, I would have to think twice before coming here.

It was a friends birthday and they came out with the tiramisu and panna cotta with a sparkler on top, complete with birthday music playing over the speakers. Panna Cotta was BOMB.COM Tiramisu was a flop though. There are WAY better tiramisus out there.
