Our first time ever at this store! Doing a favor for some friends to pick up their tile at the…read moreGrand Prairie location. We were told that pick up was behind the building, just to pull up in the back and give them the name/phone number of the order. There was a sign at the back that said to ring the bell. Wait patiently. Rang the bell.. waited... rang the bell.. waited .. rang the bell (held a little longer). In the meantime another customer pulls up and waits behind us. Service door opens and out comes an employee I believed was ready to help (relief!.. wrong!). He speaks up and says, "Can you hear that bell?", I responded "Yes".. he replied, "we can, too..and we have so many orders in here!!, and we will be with you when we get a chance!" "DO NOT RING THAT BELL AGAIN!". Waited another 5-10 min.. other customer came over and asked how long we'd been there. At this point it had been over 20 minutes. I walked over and rang the bell again (held it longer). Door bursts open and the employee walks out yelling, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO RING THAT BELL!" "IF YOU RING IT AGAIN, I'M CANCELING YOUR ORDER!". Then proceeds to question the other customer about his pick up. By now it's been close to 30 minutes, and not once were we asked about the order we're picking up. Not once did anyone clarify what the situation was or what we were there for. My husband stepped up and asked to speak to the manager, and was promptly informed that the employee helping us (Trevor) was the manager. We were told what we should've done instead of being directed and being helped. Many words were exchanged and a couple of other employees came out to help (heated further!). Over and over Trevor stated he was "CANCELING THE ORDER!", not even knowing who the order was for!! It continued to escalate from there to the point of ridiculous jabber. Not once were we asked for any information regarding the order we were picking up. When that point finally came, we contacted our friends who called the store to confirm that we were picking up their product. We were told to move our vehicle so they could load product for the other customer. Upon returning we were informed we were at the wrong pick up area. The order had been confirmed and was waiting at the tile pick up service door. Were we in the wrong? YES! We simply didn't know the process and had no guidance from the MANAGER! Professionalism is a fine line.. This experience never should've escalated the way it did! Will my husband and I EVER darken this company's door? NOT IN THIS LIFETIME! We have never been so rudely disrespected! Live and learn.. what not to do!

After looking at my home he gave me a fair estimate.. On the day of installation, the roofing crew was here and ready to work. Rob checked on several times throughout the day. The crew protected windows, A/C, bushes, etc... They work continuously till complete. They were respectful of the neighbors with their radio, vehicles, and equipment. Once completed, they cleaned up the entire area. We ran into some cosmetic issues and Rob and Matt worked to address the unpredictable challenge of a metal-framed house. Overall I happy and would recommend Rob, Matt, and his company.

Our insurance company, one of the biggest, said we only needed a roof "repair". Horizon said we definitely needed a roof "replacement." After a few months of deliberation, we won our case, and Horizon immediately went to work replacing our roof & gutters. A superbly well done job! From replacing water-damaged, rotting roof deck to designing more efficient flashing and venting, no corners were cut. They always made it a priority to consult with us on exactly what we wanted when it came to choices, and spent hours overseeing all the crews. A shout out to José, lead man of the roofers team! He and his team delivered exceptional service and work. Let's face it, how often does a homeowner need their roof replaced? Not often, and we may not even have a clue where to begin. Connect with owner Craig Burnett, an experienced pro in his field, and you will be in the best hands!
