Now I'm doing rehab for my knee arthroscopy. Their facility is beautiful and gentle, well-trained dogs roam around the staff and patients. They have a manual therapy philosophy, which means that their skilled physical therapists work the muscles and other tissue with their bodies before you are asked to do your strengthening and rehab exercises. Their therapists are exceptionally well trained and even their techs know exactly what needs to be done, from prep to positioning. I highly recommend T.O.P.S. Physical Therapy!

Then I continued on to my exercises with a student who was very helpful. My second appt a week later I was with a different PT who spent less than 5 min on me, no cupping or additional therapy. Then I was on my own to do my exercises which I hardly remembered so I had to approach one of the students for help. I found this odd because I've been to physical therapy before and had a more hands on experience from the staff. Repeat all of this on my third visit. Had another different PT who spent more time with me than the second one but once that care was over I was on my own. Then on my fourth visit I had yet another different PT, even though my appts were at the same date/time each week. I did some looking on Reddit and folks in the PT community refer to places like these as "mills" which it totally felt like. The nail in the coffin for me was getting charged for a needling service (recommended by one of the physical therapists there) even though at no point was I informed that it was an additional cost. Bummed out because the location was convenient and staff was kind, I just think the way the place is run could be more patient-focused.

Excruciating numbness and aching kept me up all night. I couldn't even grip anything at night and mornings. The worst part is that I couldn't hold a bottle, change a diaper, or even hold my new born baby. Wrist stents, and hot/cold compressions just were no longer helping. Went in and asked Taylor for immediate relief. She was very understanding to my situation and my needs. I just wanted to take care of baby without the pain. She gave me an injection of steroids on each wrist. I will forever be thankful for the urgency and treatment during my time of need.

I had come from another very large PT…read moreorganization where I was released after 5 months and was still lacking in being able to function with basic life skills. Dr. Gomez (Makali) was amazing. She gave me incremental exercises that led to not just a full recovery, but strength, range of motion, and flexibility that I had not had before my injury. Sevaughn, her therapy assistant is also amazing with an encouraging very professional attitude dove tailed with attention to detail, fine tuning the subtleties of each assigned exercise to give maximum benefit. The physical improvement was coupled with a sense of caring and consistent compassion. I saw it with all their clients. It gave me a profound sense of comparison to the very impersonal and uncaring attitude of the PT site I had been released from. And, finally I want to express my sincere appreciation to the welcoming reception staff greeting each person by first name. They were immensely helpful and their phone calls were very kind and courteous. I was sent to collection for a bill of $540! INSANE! ESPECIALLY IN A TIME WHERE A PANDEMIC HAS HIT AND I HAD BEEN UNEMPLOYED FOR OVER A YEAR! They said they talked to me and sent me statements. I don't know that that is something to be proud of or ashamed of, but it is what it is. I've mostly been going for shoulder pain, but also for a calf injury... I've been seeing Kristina Lott as my Physical Therapist and I highly recommend her. Nate Snell is also fabulous, but Kristina's schedule jives well with my need to come in early mornings. The front office and support crew are all friendly -- even when I go before 7am, which is impressive. Shout out to Kat, who keeps me in check with the exercises that Kristina prescribes. I'm hoping to graduate from this bout of visits in the near future, but if and when I need to return for PT, Endurance Rehab will always be my first choice of places to go. Since my last review, and when recovering from a calf injury, I was able to utilize the onsite G-Trainer anti-gravity treadmill.  It was super cool and definitely aided in my recovery. Scheduling is insane. It took me over 12 weeks to get in even though I told them I only had access…read moreto my insurance for 15 weeks and I'd initially been referred for six sessions. The scheduling person promised me they always had tons of openings if I got on their wait list, but the openings never came. (Then they told me it was because they kept those for established patients, but those also never opened up for me, so I think it's just extremely hard to schedule--and they can't or won't accomodate people who may need to get in sooner.) The physical therapist is pretty good and gives a lot of feedback. Some of the techs are good, others seem to be on a bit of a power trip or not paying attention and kind of just going through the motions. I think I had a different tech every time I went in. Working with the techs is often about the same as doing the exercises at home (with added bike/treadmill time); they don't really give good pointers or anything. Spooner is very slow about updating exercises in the app. You basically have to remind them. I'm glad the AC works again; it gets pretty hot in there. Also didn't realize there were more convenient locations when I booked, but that was my fault.
