The studio is pretty small- really just one big room but cozy. The instructor was fun- educational and gave options for moving within comfort. They also offered a lot of supplies incase you don't have or forgot things ! I will say- I just felt like the class was very cramped and I didn't have enough space to actually do the stretches without having to worry about someone else's foot being near my head or dropping someone else's water bottle over. There's a chance that they may have just overbooked that class for the day since it was on a weekend but I do think they should probably limit it 10 (I think there was about 12-13 people today) but otherwise I'd definitely be back. This was a yoga class where I did movements that I don't usually do in many of my other classes. It's somewhat killed my knees, but at the same time, it was great to try out new things. I'd recommend bringing either a thicker mat or maybe little kneepads if you have crap knees like me!

The locker room is sufficient, not as nice as some and sometimes quite crowded but comfortable and efficient enough. I have now been going for almost 2 years and I am beyond hooked. At 40 years old, my body looks better than it did in my 20's and I get a true natural high as I finish a class. Currently working on handstands. #practicenotperperfection The one thing I'd say is that I'm motivated by music so pay attention to the explanation of the class. Some of the Hot 26's are silent (in the original spirit of Bikram) and I find them tedious. Personally. Give me a beat to get lost in and I will. But you do you. I also thought it was really neat how they put an emphasis on their environmental impact by offering things like secondhand clothing and compostable paper towels. I took a gentle yoga class on a Sunday morning, and it was wonderful. Just what I needed after a day of travel. The class was very full, I think she said around 40 people had signed up. While I do prefer a smaller class size, I was luckily able to find a mat on the edge and still really enjoyed the class. I wish we had a studio like this in the Columbus area!

The teachers are well seasoned and give clear cues so being new to the styles of yoga they teach isn't daunting. I've done hip hop, hip hop yoga, Buti yoga, and a gentle flow yoga and each of them have been classes I would love to take again. They have a motto that your vibe attracts your tribe and I would say their vibe is fun and welcoming. I felt like a regular attendee after my first class.

Anyway you wanna get down is there! The instructors are all very down to earth and sincere, allowing you to have a genuine connection with each of them in your practice. I personally enjoy getting my jam on to Buti Yoga, Buti Yoga Lite, and Old School Flow. Buti Yoga is this beautiful class that combines animal flowing style of yoga with banging beats that gets your heart rate up and really allows you to let loose. It honestly called out to me and while I'm in this class, the primal energy just zips right through! It's nice to really let everything go in such a positive setting, where no one is trying to outdo anyone else- we just join our powers for a bit like Captain Planet to become these Wonder Beings! There is a Lite class available if you want to get a better grip of it before taking a standard class. If you're a little hesitant, Buti Yoga Lite is perfect to get used to moving your body using the techniques of Buti but at a slower pace and with more queues. It's even more of a "coming together" experience as we all learn this new style of movement. Whichever route you go, I definitely encourage everyone to try a Buti class at least once! Finally, I did not realize how much I'd be digging that Old School Flow! Old school hip hop makes everything better anyway, but this class is a great mid week flow that lingers in each pose for a bit and really opens you up. She usually tosses in just a liiiiittle bit of core work for good measure, and if you specify that you'd like it, makes nice manual adjustments and mini massages in certain poses. Oh so good! Lots of exclamation marks, but that's just how much I love Primal Studios. They're prices are unbeatable and they usually run specials for newbies, so be sure to check them out!

I've been to classes before where I had to keep glancing up at the front of the room to make sure I was in the right pose, but I was able to follow Forest's instructions without doing that and instead focus on the poses and my breathing. I don't know much about natural oils and herbs, but Violet Owl definitely does. They have a variety of options for joint pain, stress and other things. Definitely worth checking out!

We especially loved the bike park portion for our kid. At $160 a month for a family of 3 (since our 4th was free because she's under 4), we just couldn't afford it anymore. We asked if we could do a bike only membership, and they said they no longer offer them. I was also interested in the different groups they hosted (examples: homeschool groups, etc), but the group membership if I remember correctly was $160 per person just to be apart of groups. I really do wish they had something more all-inclusive at a better price, as well as just better prices all around. We were only able to go about once a week which just didn't make the high price tag worth it. We've been to similar climbing gyms for $100 a month for a family, so this was just too steep for our budget. I've heard from several other local families that have had the same experience. Hoping they make things more cost effective for future families to join!

I had suggested we try tantra, and she was apprehensivly open to the idea. I desided to just go for it. I called Tantric Retreat and the phone was answered by Jess. We immediately had some sort of connection and my wife and she had alot of past history in common. I sheepishly told my wife about my conversation and asked her to call Jess. She was very nervous but Jess answered her questions and concerns. My wife said to book it. We spent 2 days at Denise and John's home 3, 3hr sessions were booked. Turned into 2, 3hrs a 2 hr, and they added an extra hour the next morning. Denise gave us a yoga session just because. My wife had always wanted me to do that with her. They have a temple in their basement for your pesonal quarters. However they welcome you freely in the other area of their home. These people are so open and welcoming, tailor the sessions to your specific needs. The sessions were amazing and have brought my wife and i so much closer together. No turmoil, tension, or stress in our home any longer. We built a sacred space in our home in the days after we departed. We use it daily before we go to work and meditate together. And most days, the evenings for the more adventurous aspects. These people truly changed our lives and relationship in a way i never dreamed possible. I would recommend them without reservation to any couple that wants to take their relationship to a level they never thought possible, or needs to resolve past issues and heal. It will do both. Its not all about sex, and nothing out of your comfort zone happens or is discussed with your practitioner. Those issues and things are called homework. Do it! It works if you give it your all. My wife and i no longer have hallway sex, but are studying for a doctorate in happiness, bliss, and ecstasy. Just go for it, life changing
