When it's a dinner salad I expect it to be a bowl full of lettuce but it came in a plate. The steak was good and had more steak than the steak dish on the menu. If you are looking for steak the salad is a good deal. If you are looking at a salad this is a terrible idea as it's so small. The server didn't want to do anything about it either. For a casino and spending $22 dollars on this dish it's not worth it and would never get it again. The loaded potato soup was very good on the other hand. Disappointed they didn't do anything. Instant maybe? Not sure but it looked flaky to me. The gravy was ok just very little. My soup was luke warm. And a very small cup. Maybe 1/4 cup. And No vegetable. $16 plate meat and potato. The bread pudding was old as well. It was refrigerated days. And my drink. This may be picky but for me sweet tea is not the same as iced tea. If I ask for sweet tea it should be sweet when I get it. The dinning room is setup so you cant see anything. I couldn't find my server once we sat down. No refills on water or tea. I wont be going back.

The chive cream cheese is the best and they will give you more if you ask for it. We tried the ribeye, mushrooms, mashed potatoes, grilled broccolini, caprese and Casesar salads, chocolate cake, and mocktails. We tried the au poivre and hollandaise sauces as well. We did hope that they would have more homemade steak sauce options. The food was mostly good but the caprese had some mealy tomatoes in it and the mushrooms seemed to be cooked in oil instead of butter, so that was not good. I took the chocolate cake home and it was ok but not quite what I thought it would be. It seemed to be more of a mousse cake than a traditional 7-layer cake. Just ok for me. They do give you chocolate lava beignets at the end and those were good. They also brought over a whole new bread basket that we did not ask for and then wasted the whole thing instead of packing it up with our food, so I did not like that. Don't be wasteful. Overall, it was a good experience and we would go back to try some other things.

Upon entering, the music was extremely loud; much louder than a concert! A waitress seemed accommodating, but then the owner came up and promptly refused to turn the music down. I am 44 and went to metal concerts as a young man, and this was painfully loud! The irony is that this place is marketed as a family restaurant and the volume was high enough that you could not have a conversation. We were probably going to spend $100+, but that must not mean anything to them?? We will not be returning and will definitely be spreading the word. Too bad, they have a decent ribeye at a good price. Guess we'll grill at home or drive to Elkhart next time we want a good steak!

American We hit the…read moreSecond Time Around on the recommendation of a coworker. There was six of us hungry dudes after a long day of meetings and equipment trials. The name comes from the fact that the owners originally had a thriving restaurant at the location, sold it, went off to pursue something else and eventually came back and the same venue was currently available - that's the reader's digest version but you get the idea. Waitress was a hoot and got us going with drinks and apps. We started with fried pickles, fried portobellos and the pretzel bites. All were freshly made and the crowd devoured them. We ordered quite a few different things for dinner from Steaks to salads and everyone was satisfied with what they got. I had the Delmonico and it was good - could have been thicker but fine enough. It came with two sides so I opted for the veggie of the day and coleslaw. No complaints at all. They have a full bar and the drinks were well made. Parking in the front is limited somewhat but there seems to be more on the side. All in all I would hit again if in the area.

The menu is simple enough with some great standout selections - and if I'm not mistaken, the majority of items comes with soup and choice of potato. Prices seemed average. The soup was HOT and there was a nice variety: cream of mushroom, rosa marina, and vegetable. You can also request a basket of rolls to have with your soup or before. The star of the show for me, besides the cream of mushroom soup was the french fries. Some of the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time. They were great and hot and fresh. I had the Italian dip sandwich, comes with a side of au jus, and it was also super fresh with a some mozzarella cheese on top. But what sealed the deal for us with a 5-star rating was the service!!!! Wow, our waitress was amazing and just great in everyway. Loved this experience and if I'm ever nearby in Knox again, I would stop by!!! Don't miss it.
