I call up the restaurant and speak to Omar and I tell him my situation. I tell him I'm going to place an order online for bone-in wings, all flats and extra crispy. The order was received on time and just how I requested it. Second occasion, Monica took my order. I explained to her the same thing. Once again my order came thru correct and hot and just how I requested it. I ordered pizza on this order. 1 supreme and the other stuffed crust meat lovers. Thank you guys for coming thru. They were all super generous and welcomed us at the door. They also helped us select our food. Prices are affordable and worth it. My food was absolutely perfect. Fast service. The green salsa is to die for. It's not too spicy but has amazing flavors. This is the best agua de horchata I've had (and I've had plenty hehe). I definitely recommend you stopping to eat here. This place is amazing.

One night they gave us a free sample of what they called pizza pie . and those days no one had ever heard of this. It was delicious. Years later, I heard that the people who ran the drive-in had been Bookies who got into trouble with the New York mafia and ended up in San Benito. A great place to hide. that was the last time I ever had New York Pizza in San Benito until now. I wonder what ever happened to the Bookies. It's very relaxing sipping on a cortado in a nearly empty coffee shop watching backed up lines circle around 7 Brew. Did you know Kaapeh House also has a drive thru? It's only a matter of time until this best kept-secret is let out of the bag. Anyway, the shop is super adorable. It reminds me of a miniature McNay and Press Coffee up in San Antonio, since it's covered in framed art pieces, and has a loft section. They have a respectable-sized menu, with your standard offerings. I brought my parents with me, and they had two white mocha lattes, and I had a mocha latte and a cortado. The cortado was good - not the best, but it was enjoyable. The mocha - I'm still sipping on it as I type this, to be honest. I'm trying to savor it. It's sweet and delicious, and has a very cozy feeling about it that I'm trying to zero in the source - I think it's the viscosity. The baristas are really cool - one had bright pink hair. She was very nice and complimented my hair, too. The guy I think was still learning? He was also very nice and he made and delivered our drinks. I swear, every time I swing by Brownsville, there's a new coffee shop to try out. I love this new trend, because they've all been pretty impressive. Kaapeh House is no exception. I'd definitely come back, especially to enjoy the art and atmosphere.
