Definitely one of the best places to go for the best views of the bay bridge. Came here during the rain but definitely want to come back during summer time

Rincon Park is in a great location which is walking distance from the Oracle Stadium and the Ferry Building. It has a view of downtown San Francisco on one side and a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge on the other side. I've seen it most crowded after work on weekdays and on the weekends. Many people have picnics here and bring their dogs. Lots of people gather for their dogs to play and socialize here. However it's not gated so your dog does have to be trained to stay within the field. The negative here is that that there are homeless people that are here from time to time who can cause disruption when they start randomly yelling. Otherwise I would say it is a great park to see the scenic views and bring your pet.

While in SF on a business trip, I happened to stop at this lovely little park during a morning run! Being that is was my first time in SF, I was eager to get a good view of the Bay Bridge, and Rincon Park provided just that! The park is relatively small, but it has both grassy areas and a running/bike path. The particular morning I visited it was foggy, but I still was able to get a beautiful view of the bridge and take a moment to watch the ferry boats come in and out. The park was relatively quiet, with just a few other runners and bikers passing through. Ricon Park is also known for its very large and incredibly cool bow and arrow sculpture by the famous artist Claes Oldenburg. It's huge and can't be missed! Next time I find myself in SF, I'll make a run to enjoy the beautiful views of Ricon Park.

The only reason I did not give Rincon Park five stars was because of the smell. My fur baby and I walked from pier 39 down to Rincon Park. It's a nice walk, a lot of people watching. When we got there, there was only one other dog there named Ellie. I know because he called her name. Cupid's span is so cool up close. However, the smell as I mentioned earlier was so pungent. I will add that I am very sensitive to smells. However overall it was a great experience and a great walk!

Beautiful City! I love San Francisco.

This is a beautiful place to be. Go for morning walk, running, enjoy the view of Bay Bridge.

TL;DR: Water front walkway with sporadic art. In between shopping and restuarants. This is another part of my daily walks around my work neighborhood. I recently expanded my path to come up south of the park and through it on the way to Pier 14 & the ferry building. There's some decent foliage around here, a nice little green oasis in the city. Actually saw it being tended today, by what appeared to be a volunteer, which was even cooler. There's an open grass space and plenty of room to move about, often and frequently see work-out groups down here either on the grass or on the numerous walkways around here. There's the giant bow and arrow in one of the lawns too, which doesn't make any sense and doesn't really need to. Awesome views of the bay, the bridge, and oakland, etc. Worth the walk by, but not really a destination spot.

    Ignore the fence =)

A nice park with a decent amount of parking spots for SF. Came here because I saw everybody's amazing pictures online and wanted some with my girlfriend too. However, all of the trash on the grass and fencing around Cupid's Span and railing next to the water really dampened the beauty of the area. Huge disappointment that I was unable to get any pictures of with Cupid's Span without all of the fencing around it. This is area is still the best for pictures of the Bay Bridge if you go on the walkway into the water. You will be able to get a close up view without all of the fences.

I like this park because i'm a Jersey girl. Need me to explain?? Bow and arrow makes me think of Bon jovi 'shot through the heart and you're to blame, you give love a bad name' see small patch of grass on the water, usually breezy. view of the bay bridge is nice (if you're into that sort of thing) right by the ferry bulding. i like it

My sister and I arrived before 8am at the Watershed parking lot and barely found a space. We did the trail that took us to the West Point Inn for the pancake breakfast and round trip was close to 5 miles so it was a great workout. There's gorgeous views and well! On the way back to the 101 however it's a mess. The road on the way down is crowded with parked cars, which makes driving through challenging. That's the only thing about this park, other than that I'd love to come back in spring when everything is green and vibrant!

Ever since then, I've wanted to hike this peak, today I have achieved my wish. Early June with mild coastal temp, 50s-60s. Started up Matt Davis Trail in the foggy forest, to Pantoll Campground, to West Point Inn where we can look down to the top of the fog layer, to the Fire Lookout building at the Peak. Then we came down reverse but split off to Steep Ravine and Dip Sea trail after the campground. I've also always wanted to climb that ladder. This hike provided views of the Pacific ocean on the West as well as views of Richmond-San Rafael Bridge on the East side. I thoroughly enjoyed the cool lush forest, but actually my favorite section was the single track along the slope of the open area after the Mt Tam State Park sign.

Let's also close down the streets from cars one day a week in the Summer so people can ride their bikes, skate, rollerblade, play and dance in the streets! How about on some warm weekend days we put huge concerts there that fill the grass for as far as the eye can see so people can bring all their friends to enjoy food, drinks, and music together. And the lake... let's make it so people can rent boats, and if they don't or can't row, they can peddle so they, too, can enjoy the waterfall and life on the lake! Let's also have beautiful statues around the park, definitely a Shakespeare Garden, and let's throw in something for garden lovers, like a Botanical Garden (a big one) and a Conservatory of Flowers. For more culture, let's add a Japanese Tea Garden with more lakes and flowers, and even a bridge in the shape of a circle. Let's also make this accessible to everyone, so some days, the museums are free (ie, usually once a month). And some entrance fees are lower for locals. (Check the websites.) We really enjoy coming to Lafayette Park Playground this morning for an early Easter egg hunting…read moreevent--it's quite unique compared to other playgrounds in the city. The layout is more challenging and perfect for little explorers who love to climb, balance, and stay active. My 3-year-old always finds something new to do, and it keeps them engaged for a long time. I also appreciate that babies aren't left out--there are designated areas where younger kids can safely play too. The restroom is conveniently located and clean, which is a big plus for families. That said, some of the rocky edges can be a bit risky for adventurous kids, so it's definitely a place where you'll want to keep a close eye on them at all times. The only downside is parking--it can be pretty tough to find a spot, especially during busy times. Overall, it's a fun and exciting playground that's great for kids of different ages, as long as you're prepared for a bit of supervision and a parking hunt!
