Dr. Patricia has been divinely gifted with the gift of healing. It is because her holistic practices and God given abilities, that my precious daughter continues to be able to not just survive but thrive. My daughter has multiple health conditions, including but not limited to, physical congenital anomalies, neuro-developmental w psychological gaps, and dietary incompatibilities. But weekly treatments keep my girl stable, able to live life, and continue to pursue her goals & dreams. Anytime my daughter experiences any flare-up of symptoms, Dr. Patricia gets her scheduled quickly to help her recover and return to healthy balance and stability. We consider Alamo Heights Wellness our primary care for my daughter; a very real lifeline. This is absolutely one of our happy-places and we look forward to every appt. My husband, mother, and I are also regular clients of both Dr. Patricia and Practitioner Coleman. Anytime we start experiencing symptoms of pain, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, GI trouble, or any type of mind/body/spirit imbalance, our first line of defense and help is always getting into a treatment appt here at Alamo Heights Wellness. We are so thankful for Patricia, and her devoted, professional, and caring staff.

Get rid of those subluxations!…read more As part of my "Hitting 40 - it's all about wellness and prevention", I had a consultation with Dr. Q and Dr. Ho (they're both Dr. Ho, but for differentiation's sake, "Dr. Q" is Quoc Ho and Dr. Ho is Khoa Ho). I have a colleague that referred me to this group. I had been wanting to go to a chiropractor for awhile now since my fiance's GI problems are virtually gone since going to a chiropractor recently as well as discussing wellness with a friend who is a chiropractor, but in another town. So glad to find someone with the same philosophy here in town. After my initial consultation, I found out I had two subluxations - at my neck and at the end of my spine (which totally explains my sciatica irritation down my right leg), As part of the initial consult, x-rays are included and then a follow-up appointment is made to discuss the x-ray findings and treatment plan. I am on track now for 3x a week and it will eventually taper off to 2x/wk and then 1x/wk. With insurance covering part of the cost, I am ecstatic about seeing were my progress with this group will put me a year from now. I encourage everyone to get evaluated - every trip, fall, accident can result in a subluxation and it's so important to make sure to get these addressed for your spine and overall health! It's a must do! In addition, these folks have a massage therapist (whom I haven't had the chance to try yet), they hold fitness classes Mondays and Wednesdays evenings, as well as once a month dinner presentations and other wellness and health discussions every month. Take charge of your health and include chiropractic care into your wellness regimen!

Unlike the last review, I was blown away with all of the information I was given about my health…read moreissues. I did join his program and I could not be happier with everything that I have learned about my nutrition and my personal food sensitivities. I am now much more aware of the foods I put in my body and how they affect me. Dr. Jimenez and his staff are very warm, welcoming and always readily available to answer any questions throughout your health journey. I'm not gonna lie, it will take dedication to follow this program but I graduated to not needing my daily prescription and I am really excited about that!!!! A+++

When I sought care at Imagine Wellness, I came with a professional healthcare background and had…read moredone extensive research on my own. I had foundational knowledge of what might be contributing to my condition, but I was struggling to create a consistent, sustainable regimen that would lead to lasting change. I had developed food sensitivities and new allergies seemingly out of nowhere, and after bouncing from specialist to specialist without answers, I was frustrated and looking for a comprehensive approach. Initially, Imagine Wellness felt promising. However, I quickly learned that their approach is largely "one size fits most" -- and unfortunately, I did not fit that mold. Early in the program, I was instructed to purge my pantry and eliminate anything not strictly anti-inflammatory. I followed directions carefully and threw out a significant amount of food. Just three months later, many of those same foods -- while not technically "anti-inflammatory" -- were deemed perfectly acceptable and even healthy additions. As someone who already follows a largely Mediterranean-style, whole-food diet and maintains an active lifestyle, simply moving those items to the back of the pantry would have been a far more reasonable recommendation. Instead, I wasted a substantial amount of money and felt unnecessarily restricted. After about three months, I did notice some improvement in my dietary limitations. However, the next phase involved purchasing numerous supplements. Shortly after starting them, I began feeling worse and noticed regression in my symptoms. When we reviewed the ingredient labels closely, we discovered that several supplements contained ingredients I was sensitive to -- in small amounts, but taken multiple times daily. The cumulative effect clearly mattered. This was later confirmed by my allergist and providers at the Mayo Clinic. Unfortunately, my concerns were dismissed by IW staff as "not possible," which left me with hundreds of dollars in unused supplements and little accountability from the program. The final concern involved my interactions with Dr. J. As a doctorate-prepared clinician trained in mental health, psychopharmacology, and neurotransmitter function, I have substantial expertise in these areas. Yet I consistently felt dismissed. My professional title was never used, and I was repeatedly referred to as "kiddo." I was often given minimal time to speak, and when I attempted to demonstrate understanding of complex material, I was met with comments such as, "Don't worry, I won't quiz you once I'm done." The tone felt condescending rather than collaborative. Respect and mutual acknowledgment of expertise matter -- especially in healthcare. I left those appointments feeling unheard and undervalued. Ultimately, I have since received far more effective guidance from a nutritional expert whose services are fully covered by my insurance. I understand that my case may be complex and that others may have had positive experiences with Imagine Wellness. However, if I could go back, I would not have thrown away so much food at the start, would not have spent hundreds of dollars on supplements that worsened my condition, and would have advocated more firmly to be heard, respected, and treated as a fellow professional. For those considering this program, I strongly encourage asking detailed questions about personalization, supplement ingredients, and the degree of collaborative communication you can expect.
