When the river had dropped enough to float, Amanda and Creed showed up with rafts - much more suitable and safe for our group at the time. Since then, Crockett's have been our absolute go-to whenever we float in this area. We've rented and day-floated many times. We've floated overnight several times. They've shuttled our vehicles to a variety of locations as we ventured up and down for more of the Buffalo. Crockett's have always offered the best and most dependable advice - and have ALWAYS under promised and then over delivered!

The quoted price from 45$ per canoe was changed to 65$. She said we can't cancel, but we have to pay and they would give us a one year credit. We went to wild bills who had put in people all day long and had no issues at all. I would not recommend setting your expectations for this outfitter.

We had Jamie and Curtis as our guides for a two day trip. This is definitely a full service place. They tie your hook, bait it, and tell you when to reel it in... then when you get a fish they take it off for you. I enjoy getting in there and playing with the bait and the fish, so by the second day I convinced Curtis to let me pick my crawfish and bait the hook and even take a few fish off of the hook as well. These guides really know where the fish are, and what to use to catch them. They provide lunch on some of the trips, which is generally good (store bought) food. I would suggest this service to anybody.
