He charged me $4,000 with the agreement that they are going to fix the roof where it was leaking. Less than a year forward, after the rain here in California in February 2025, same problem, there is still leak coming out from the same spot that is supposed to have been fixed by them. So, I called them since they have a 2 year guarantee that they have given me in our contract, they came back to inspect the leak, and now they are telling me that it's not the area that they fixed a year ago and they can come back to fix the roof however gave me a quote of $12,000, which according to them is already a discounted price. I had another company look at the roof, this company fixed the leak where APEX should have fixed it in the first place and only paid $1,500 compared to the $12,000 that Dori Halon is asking me. After a Series of rain early March 2025, after the 2nd company fixed it there's no more Leak. This means that they scammed me on the work that they claim they completed would have fixed a very simple leak issue. I wanted to sue them and make small claims but I realized the headache that I have to deal with is not worth it. So, I'm just giving them this review. He didn't demo the old wood planks that he agreed to replace with new plywood. He only made repairs to the existing wood planks. He butchers the installation of the eves with crazy insane ugly cuts that were visible from the street. When told the job was not looking up to par he NEVER came back. Took $7,000 in cash and blocked us on his phone. His brother and another worker came by the next day to collect their tools and truck they had left behind. Gary's Professional Level High Quality Work Fixed my backyard…read more I want to thank Gary for getting my backyard pavers to look great. I had pavers installed, but the contractor significantly washed out the color. It came down to them having a bad installation technique. I contacted Gary and immediately conveyed the confidence that he could do a good job fixing the situation. Gary did a two part process. Part 1 was to wash/clean the paver stones in an attempt to regain as much color as possible. It worked, the pavers looked so much better. Then he did Part 2, which was to sealer the stones with a Water Base Wet sealers. It all came out great.
