All this guy wants to do is x-rays and charge you 400 bucks for his "foot care products". Stay…read moreaway, he is not a very smart man either, I would expect a doctor to speak correctly and not like a snake oil salesman.

SCAM ALERT! $$$$. I went in for a new pair of orthotics, and of course, he wanted to sell me 2…read morepairs which maybe I do need for different types of shoes. Not sure why, but they took X-rays of my feet only to see I had some swelling which I feel was blown out of proportion. He did not seem to listen to me that I did not have foot pain all the time, he mumbled constantly and went from patient to patient wearing the same gloves. I did other tests and walked over a platform to see where I have pressure and how high my arches are. He told me I have plantar fasciitis, I'm positive I do not, but I think he diagnoses everyone it. At the second appointment they scanned my feet, and even though I did not feel I needed a steroid injection, he gave me one anyway. One shot was fine, but the other hurt badly and my feet were numb for hours. He also gave me plantar fasciitis braces for my feet which I doubt I needed. Not sure yet who covered the cost of the braces and arch support bands he gave me. I was told to wear them while sleeping, then he said I only have to wear them for 20 minutes. So 8 hrs vs. 20 minutes?- quite the discrepancy. He also gave me a prescription for Voltaren for arthritis, which I do not have. The orthotics I got are great, but I agree that he's out to make as much money as he can. I think even the women who work for him knows he provides unnecessary procedures. I've been wearing orthotics since I was 19, and I'm now 47. I've never had X-rays and I've never gone through so many tests just to get new orthotics. I usually only have one appointment, but with him, it was 3. Usually they have me step in foam, scan or cast my feet. Orthotics are supposed to cost between $400 and $600, and I did not know until the appointment was over that I had to pay $1,920 for everything! The "starter" orthotics are $565 and the "final" orthotics are $985. I have NEVER heard of starter and final orthotics. He's a snake oil salesman and is only out to get as much money from you as he possibly can. I regret going to him and I got screwed out of more than $1,000! Good thing he is planning on retiring, and I would NEVER go back. STAY AWAY!

Podiatrist Highly Recommended: I would like to give a shout-out to Foot Specialist of New England…read moreQuincy location, specifically the husband & wife team of Ajaypaul Singh & Nassim Tabrizi. I was notified by my elderly mother's Memory Care facility of an extremely swollen & infected big toe, which needed immediate attention & antibiotics. After 2.5 rounds of RX antibiotics, having her toe lanced & drained at Urgent Care, we were referred to a Podiatrist, with 2 different Drs appointments booked in Norwood & Dedham a few weeks out. With the on-going infection not being cured by RX, we were asked to come in to see the Nurse Practitioner (NP) to be further examined. The NP determined she needed to see a Specialist right away. The NP got us an appointment for the following day/Friday at Foot Specialist of New England with Dr Nassim Tabrizi whom after examination determined my mother's toe nail needed to be removed. We were directed on care of the toe & brought back on Monday to be seen by Dr Singh, whom was very pleased with the healing process & the state of the toe. Two weeks after removal of the toe nail my mother's toe is on its way to healing and looking far better than when this process began. Prior to Dr Tabrizi we were at a loss trying to help get my mother's toe healed & back in a shoe. We can't say enough about the care our 87 year old mother received and how well our mother was treated and cared for. I would high recommend this talented Poditrist team at Foot Specialist of New England Quincy Office. Note they are in the process of taking over the practice of Dr Ducach.
