Our 14-year-old Ford had become genuinely scary to drive. It hesitated during acceleration and felt…read morelike a manual transmission where the gears weren't fully engaging. Anything over 45 mph made me nervous, and I was convinced I was one breakdown away from being stranded on the side of the road. I first took it to another shop, where they kept it for two days before telling me it was a transmission issue they couldn't repair. The estimate? Around $3,000. For an older vehicle that we plan to hand down to our soon-to-be teenage driver, that was a tough pill to swallow. Thankfully, I decided to try Frisco Automotive through the Old Town Frisco Yiftee program, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The gentleman at the front desk immediately understood my description of the problem and took the time to personally test drive the vehicle. We even ended up having a fun conversation about Ohio and the Cleveland Browns while discussing the symptoms. What impressed me most was that they didn't just accept the previous diagnosis. They investigated the issue themselves and discovered it wasn't the transmission at all. A support mount for the engine had come loose. They repaired it, then personally drove the vehicle again, including taking it up to highway speeds, to verify the hesitation was completely gone. The result? A repair bill under $1,000 instead of a $3,000 transmission replacement. On top of that, they offered transportation assistance, including rides home and back to the shop when the vehicle was ready. That level of service is rare these days. Honest diagnosis, knowledgeable technicians and outstanding customer service. Frisco Automotive has absolutely earned my future business, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy repair shop.

On July 20, 2026, I drove past the Solo Auto Group used car lot and noticed several American and…read moreTexas flags flying above the dealership. Sadly, many of them were faded, frayed, and worn from age and weather. As a United States Air Force veteran, seeing our nation's flag in that condition genuinely troubled me. The American flag represents the sacrifices, service, and freedoms that so many have given so much to protect. To see it displayed in such a state was deeply disheartening. I called the dealership and spoke with Clever Solorzano. I respectfully shared how painful it was for me to see the American flags being flown in that condition and explained the significance they hold for many veterans and Americans. One week later, I happened to drive by the dealership again. What I saw was truly moving. Every worn flag had been replaced with a new one. The American and Texas flags were vibrant, beautiful, and displayed with the dignity and respect they deserve. The wind was blowing just enough that each flag was fully unfurled, standing proudly against the sky. I was deeply touched by this gesture. It brought tears to my eyes to see that my concerns had been heard and acted upon so quickly. I sincerely appreciate Mr. Solorzano for receiving my comments with understanding and respect and for taking immediate action. His response demonstrated not only professionalism, but also a genuine respect for the symbols that mean so much to so many of us. Thank you for honoring our flags and the values they represent.

I have been getting my Audi q3 serviced here for 3 years. In the beginning they were everything I…read morehad heard going to a Sewell dealership was. Excellent customer service. Then year two with them was not as great. I felt more like a number and honestly the service reps felt a little slimy as a female bringing my car in. However I am happy to report this past year I saw it getting better again, on several times of bringing my car in I was met by Christian who was well mannered and kind, always had a smile on his face. I should mention I could drive one mile to the Dallas Audi dealership however I choose to drive 40 miles north to McKinney. I recently brought my q5 in for an engine light on and i got a loaner car without issue. I picked it up a few days later and on my way home my engine light came back on. The next day the head of service reached out and asked how my service went. I forgot her name but I let her know the engine light came back on, on my way home. She was so empathetic and let me know she would send someone to me in Dallas with a loaner car and pick up my car. It was amazing that I didn't have to take time off work to bring my suv back. She also apologized and when the service manager for my car, Michael (literally the best service manager to work with!) called me he said they would test drive my car many times so that it will have the computer reset many times to make sure the engine light would not turn back on. Which they did and they fixed everything and when my car was ready they delivered it to where I was and picked up the loaner. Another crisis avoided and taken care of by this dealership, not me. Now, I have run multiple businesses and I hated it when customers would leave a review without allowing me to at least be giving the chance to fix it. We are humans and mistakes happen and companies should be judged on how they react to a problem when given the information. I also recently got a large toll bill and when I called Sewell Josh from service took care of it. Simple and easy. Every person I interacted with even when the tech looked over my car again and sent the video, apologized and made it right. I honestly don't know how they could have done anything better!? At the end of the day cars and people are both unpredictable and somehow Sewell McKinney took care of both for me, without issue. I will never go to any other dealership nor should you!!

But working with James Yowell at Audi McKinney (Sewell) was the complete opposite--it was genuinely a great experience. From the start, James made the process easy for me, my wife, and my son. He was patient, professional, and took the time to make sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. No pressure, no confusion--just straightforward answers and a focus on making sure we got exactly what we wanted. James dealt mostly with my wife, but his patience and kind attitude went a long way. We ended up purchasing an Audi S5 Sportback for my wife, and she absolutely loves it. James made what could have been a stressful day feel smooth, simple, and even enjoyable. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made the entire buying experience a pleasure. If you're in the market for an Audi, or even something else since they sell used cars too, I can't recommend James and the Sewell team in McKinney highly enough. They truly deliver the kind of service you hope for when making such an important purchase.
