Long story short, I was dismissed by the owner for being too focused on the details of their service contract. I was told to look elswhere for help. I can only assume they are not used to people seeking clarity about the details of their contract. People are usually too devastated about their family circumstance to have the energy to get everything done and focus on every detail. But this is for my loved one, and I wanted to make sure the arangement was fairly balaced when it came to how each party was covered from a responsibility standpoint. I was told to go elsewhere. Which wasn't only rude and unprofessional, but mean. But I'm glad I know now before they ever had a chance to get near my loved one. It's sad. read more

My husband was injured in a bike accident & when he came home from the hospital, we hired Right at Home to provide home health care to help him because he was not able to put any weight on his left leg nor use his left arm. We had 3 different helpers and all three were wonderful - pleasant, competent, experienced & very helpful. I strongly recommend Right at Home read more

Despite it being a late Friday afternoon, and immediate in home caregiving needed, Jessica went out of her way to find an appropriate person to care for the family member. At the last moment, due to an obstinate patient, we had to cancel our request. Jessica was very understanding about the situation and refused payment for the time spent on her behalf. I would highly recommend this company for the responsiveness, the support and the ability to arrange care in a short period of time and on a Friday night! I will definitely contact her again if the need arises. read more

Right at Home is head and shoulders above any other agency in Marin. Jessica Price, the owner and director, has extremely good social judgement, carefully screens her employees, and does a good job matching clients with caregivers. She responds immediately to any problems that arise, is easy to reach, and is a pleasure to work with. I found her quite flexible in terms of making scheduling changes. The caregivers who helped me were highly intelligent, well trained, and enjoyed being helpful. I would start with Right at Home before contacting any other agency. Marshall Bush read more

Right at Home provided just the help we needed at just the time we needed it! We've used their caregiver services twice. Both times they responded quickly to our request for services. They worked hard to find the right personality and skill set match for our loved one. The owner is very involved with regular check ins to ensure everything is going well. Excellent communications, compassionate and knowledgeable. We never had to worry about shift coverage. Peace of mind, well worth it! read more

Right at Home was able to work with my family on 24 hour notice. Jessica answered all my questions and was easily accessible. While the 1st caregiver that was placed, didn't work out- the 2nd was a godsend to my father & our entire family. While it was a short time only, they made a huge difference in the care of my father in his last days! I know might dad was happy and safe and I'll forever be grateful. read more

represented as "highly skilled" - not at all night caregiver fell asleep while on the job; owner explained that he was stressed that day. another watched things on his phone with the volume on 10 ft. from patient. another was sitting at the end of the bed, 3 feet from where patient fell off to floor. another got in a huge fight with a caregiver from another agency as one was coming and one was going. kicked our pillows as well. None kept the patient or other things clean. On the surface, owners are lovely. From other agencies, we had a superb caregiver and two fabulous nurses. I can't say enough good things about those 3. read more

Right at Home in Marin connected my family with a wonderful care provider for my mother. They did an in-person intake meeting to get a sense of my mom and her needs, matched her up with one of their experienced caretakers, did an in person introduction, and checked in along the way. The experience has been excellent and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone else looking for a great caretaking agency in Marin that takes pride in their work, and does all the necessary screening and due diligence. read more

This is a wonderful agency that really cares about the care giver and their loved ones. I have used Right At Home for over a year and a half and cannot say enough nice things. Today, I just realized I had forgotten to let the office know about a doctors appointment and they called me right back immediately after I left a message with their message service during their lunch. I feel they have my back! Normally, I have just one day a week for my mom as she is enrolled in many day programs. That works out fine, no pressure to add days and/or extra hours and many agencies do. I was so grateful when I contacted them over the weekend last Spring as my mom was getting out of the hospital and would need much more care for a week or so. I was not sure when she would be discharged, but Ariana worked with me smoothly as things progressed to make sure mom was taken care of fully. She carefully went over all of the new medications and schedules to make sure mom was fully taken care of. Thanks! It is a small office with personal care. read more

My father received awesome assistance from our caregiver Katrina. He passed on January 1, and she continues to check in with us. She visited him in the hospital on her own time at night after work and school. Amazing woman. Jessica made the paperwork quick and simple, much easier than Visiting Angels. Today the company made a donation in remembrance to plant a tree in Tahoe National Forest. Cannot think of a better gift in his memory. read more

Senior Access provides a daytime club for folks with dementia and caregiver support and respite. We offer 4 - 6 caregiver education workshops each year. Thanks to Ariana and Lena at Right at Home, we are able to offer onsite care during the workshops. I know for a fact that at least 2 of our caregivers would NOT have been able to attend the workshop without onsite care! Ruthie, the caregiver from Right at Home, was so lovely and took such great care of our clients, who are quite frail. At one point, I noticed that Ruthie pulled her chair up very close to one client in order to interact more closely with her, creating a nice warm space of acceptance and love. Ruthie went with the flow entirely (one person for care, then two. . .) as did Ariana and Lena. ..it must be part of the culture of care at Right At Home! Thank you, Ariana, Lena and Ruthie! We could not offer quality care at our workshops without you! read more

Don't waist time calling other Care Companies. These guys are simply the best. Call Jessica. We received the best, immediate care you could imagine. Love these guys!!!!!!!! read more

We traveled to northern CA this past week to attend my mother's funeral. My dad is in a wheelchair and needs assistance. I contacted Right at Home from a reference I received here at home. Chuck and Ariana, the owners, were very helpful with our last minute request for service. They assigned a fantastic caregiver to my dad. Her name is Dalila. They worked with our schedule that needed to change as things developed for the funeral. Dalila was very special and had years of experience. It is so important to have the right care for an assisted senior so they maintain their dignity and independence. Right at Home allowed my dad to feel good in a very sad situation. I highly recommend this group to help you with any assistance you need for either a senior or anyone who needs extra attention. read more

I could not be more grateful to have worked for Right at Home. They have a great staff and the management is very respectful to their workers. Being a college student actively involved on campus and having to support myself, I really appreciated the flexibility. They were respectful of my not-so flexible schedule and never pressured me to take any shifts that I was not comfortable taking, but there seemed to be plenty of opportunities to take on if I had wanted to. One of the things I found helpful was that there was someone on-call 24-7. When you work with clients that have dementia or disorders, coming across a situation where you need approval or advice from a manager is inevitable, so knowing that they are just a phone call away was a great peace of mind. If you like making a difference in the lives of those who need assistance (and I really mean it when I say make a difference, both physically and emotionally) or even just a flexible part-time job I would definitely give them a try! read more

My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's in early 2009. Shortly thereafter, we realized he needed care giving services. In addition to having Parkinson's, my husband has extreme chronic pain and many other medical issues. In the past five years, we had interviewed at least dozen agencies, have been with two care giving agencies, and have had about 50 caregivers come and go for a variety of reasons. Finally in 2013, we discovered Right at Home. We are so delighted with Raffaella from Right at Home. A former Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training, Raffaella is an excellent match for my husband. Raffaella shows patience, understanding, and compassion. She is creative in making daily activities fun such as speech therapy, swallowing therapy, and exercise therapy. Raffaella's presence in our home blends with the tranquility and peacefulness that we strive to create. She makes everyone's life better with her positive, uplifting attitude. Unlike many other caregivers we have had, she can cook and give appealing presentation of food--which is extremely important in order for my husband to want to eat. Medication reminders are given on a timely basis--mandatory for Parkinson's. She's diligent in picking up after my husband. Most importantly, she keeps him safe because he has a tendency to fall. read more

Nothing but great things to say. I called on a Sunday and Jessica answered the phone right away. I interviewed a few other services and was not impressed so I called Jessica back a few days later and asked if someone could start right away -- and preferably french speaking -- and voila! My mother had a wonderful french-speaking young woman taking very good care of her. The paperwork was effortless and there was no lengthy sales pitch. I was in a hurry and we went on trust. This is exactly the kind of service you need in this type of new and stressful situation. read more

Recently my husband was injured during an overseas trip, needed emergency surgery there, and also here upon returning home a few days later. Given his age and medical conditions, we required help at home immediately upon his release from the hospital and only had 1 day to find that help. Thanks heavens I was referred to Right At Home. I contacted them at 11 am and Jessica had help for me within an hour of my husband returning home by ambulance later that afternoon. They provided us round the clock care for four days, and every staff member was excellent. An added benefit is that Jessica or her case manager arrive at your home every time a new staff member comes to you. The help was invaluable and the management attention was prompt and thorough. I have now referred Right At Home to everyone I know who needs caregivers. This agency is an invaluable resource for Marin. read more

We had a terrific experience with this company. From the moment we made the first phone call to the time my father passed away. We interviewed other companies, but knew RAH was the company for us. Can't say enough. read more

Our family used Right at Home for two different senior family member situations over the span of about 3 years. Both situations required ongoing and ever increasing support from Right at Home. Ariana and her staff were always there for our needs - helping us anticipate, clarify, modify, and manage - in a very sensitive but professional manner! Over time we had several caregivers, all were extraordinary in their abilities and professionalism. Right at Home made very difficult life changes and situations so much easier. I have no issues highly recommending their services. We could not have managed without Right at Home. read more

I'm so happy to rave about Right at Home. Ariana Myers and her staff are highly competent, reliable, extremely nice, easy people to work with, and were always quickly responsive to our needs. Our dear 87yo friend needed a "sitter" while staying in a skilled nursing facility during her recovery from emergency open heart surgery. After 7 hours of anesthesia and post-op pain Rx she was mentally disoriented, confused, forgetful and yet quite impulsive and wanting to be up and walking all day long. Ariana's staff were fantastic w/ our friend. Although she had cognitive impairment, she's a very bright, animated university professor, and the women Ariana attendants kept her engaged and in good spirits. After 5 or 6 weeks she wasn't sorry to leave the skilled nursing for an assisted living facility, but she was very sad to lose "her friends" - the sitters from Right at Home. It was a tremendous relief for us to have her so well cared for. I highly recommend Ariana and Right At Home. read more

When my wife was convalescing from a broken hip recently, I engaged Right at Home to provide temporary caregivers. They proved to be an invaluable resource. The caregivers were uniformly pleasant, although, as you'd expect, some were more expert than others. Every time a new caregiver was introduced, Ariana or Jessica, the managers, showed up to introduce them. And they were available by phone 24 hours a day. If I had been looking for more permanent care, I'm confident that they would have been able to tailor a perfect crew for us. Highly recommended. Also thought, given the level of service, the pricing was reasonable. read more
