Her home visits and contact with me before the birth were awesome -- committed, caring, and knowledgeable. She suggested resources to help me prepare, and generally put us at ease. She is such a supportive and caring person, yet also an RN and seasoned doula who knows her stuff! During labor, Myrna put both me and my husband at ease, and was very hands-on with massage and pressure (but also knew when to give us a little space or time together). She build excellent rapport with our nurses and midwife and kept the room calm and supportive yet also fun. She is unflappable, and great at talking through options when you have a medical decision to make. She helped my husband relax and be present, and also feel OK to grab a sandwich for a few minutes. I can't imagine our births without her awesome blend of kindness and professional skill. After my son was born I had various questions about breastfeeding and newborn care and she was very helpful via text, drawing on the whole Birthing Gently group for expertise. I was impressed at how the group worked together in collaboration and trust. I highly recommend Birthing Gently and Myrna!

I've been going to Dr. Kalil ever since my pediatric dentist said I was too old (*tear*), but I've…read morebeen completely satisfied with my experience there almost every time. I had one terrible visit a few years ago with a dental hygienist who completely ravaged my gums, but I haven't seen her since so I don't think it's anything to worry about. The office isn't often crowded and I've always been seen within five or ten minutes of my appointment time (although there are plenty of magazines to peruse if the wait is longer than expected). It's a very clean, organized facility, but not sterile-looking enough to be scary. I've never dreaded going to the dentist here, and I've also never had a cavity. The schedule is flexible, the staff friendly (they know me by name, still, even though I don't go as often as they or I would like), and the visits are generally quick and efficient. I leave each time with a little goody bag containing a toothbrush, floss, and a pack of Stim-U-Dent plaque removers. The location is convenient; it's right down the street from the Loop shopping center, and there's always plenty of free parking. As far as I know, they accept both Delta Dental and MetLife. I'm not sure what other dental health insurance plans there are out there, but I've never had problems with either of those. All in all, Kalil Dental is a great place and you shouldn't hesitate to entrust them with your teeth's health.

He was very understanding of the pain and hesitation to do the exercises BUT never let that understanding stop him from completing the therapy. The visiting nurse, Phil, was very nice but I only saw him twice. Steve was in home for the last 7 weeks and because of his guidance and treatment I am in a very good position in my overall healing. STRONGLY recommend this organization. Thanks again.
