I had an appointment scheduled on a Monday and called the previous Friday to confirm. This was after they had rescheduled an appointment due to an issue with a vendor. When I called to confirm the appointment, I was told that due to going with another vendor, they would have to reschedule my appointment. When I asked when they were going to call me, they stated they had not gotten to me yet. Keep in mind that treatment needs to be done in a timely fashion. This almost borders on medical negligence. Again, the medical staff is terrific. But due to this lack of follow-up I switched to another Center for treatment.

I was actually informed that this office doesn't take my health insurance, by a good friend of mine, who also has the same health insurance. I called them this morning and asked them about this change. They said once the referral was sent to them by my OB, it would have been up to my OB to notify me - that this practice no longer takes my insurance. This doesn't make sense to me. I made an appointment with this office months ago. If they no longer take my insurance - wouldn't you think they would call me to let me know and to cancel my appointment and possibly suggest I speak to my OB? Well, they didn't do any of that. Thankfully, I found out from my friend. And what's ever more crappy of this office - they didn't even give my friend 24 hours notice that they didn't take her insurance and that her appointment was being cancelled, before her actual appointment.

At the time it was close to my house the doctor picked me up where the other doctor had me at. The staff is very friendly and they were quick to help me get prior authorization for one of my meds. They don't accept any insurance, so you don't have to deal with the insurance company. None of the other doctors that took insurance wanted to keep the medication I'd been given before. They wanted to do procedures to run up the cost of treatment I've been going to Affordable Pain Management for over a year and I'm totally pleased with their service.

When I first called I was helped by woman (Ebony) who works their front desk and will get you taken care of in regards to insurance paperwork. She was very nice and very helpful getting all that sorted out for me. She gave me ahead of time like a 6 week schedule that would work around my work schedule and was able to accommodate me in that regard. They will send you text alerts reminding you the day before of your next appointment. The Staff is really nice! I mean really nice and they are there to help you get to 100% ASAP! They have plenty of beds with TV's showing ESPN sports and all the necessary equipment one would need to get you on the road to recovery. I couldn't be any more happier going there!
