This doctor is thorough, thinks outside the box and really cares about the quality of work. Dr. Capener listens and asks questions rather than jumping to conclusions. Another thing I liked about this doctor is that he will have you try preventative medicine. I really have not had any problems from the work he did. I was referred to him by several acquaintances. One had their hearing restored by him, another who had him help with their thyroid and others who had toncelitis. He is highly skilled and can handle complex problems but knows when patients need the care of a different specialty and will refer those patients for proper treatment by the specialist needed. After so many people recommended him, I tried him and really did have good results. Talk to him personally don't just take my word for it.

Upon arrival the staff were exceptionally friendly, got me quickly through new patient registration, and were very capable getting vitals and meds list. With no wait at all, Dr. Peterson bounced in, cheery as could be. I needed to have ear wax removed. He listened, got to work, explained everything, and was sensitive and careful not to cause pain or discomfort. This experience was so much better than I expected, and superior to all my other specialist experiences in every way! Kudos to a wonderful staff. They make office visits a breeze for patients, from welcome to check-out. As to Dr Peterson, I wish I could go to him for all my issues. He is a kind man, a very good doctor, and he has an upbeat personality, which for me, relieved anxiety and brightened my morning. Last review was 7 months ago, then after I name Brooke with a 1 star review, there are multiple new ones from yesterday? Multiple naming her with glowing words about her amazing service? Very unethical. Brooke, instead of getting friends to leave obviously fake reviews, maybe just work on your people skills. When a mother who is distressed about her BABY calls you, show some grace and compassion. Brooke was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I just called to get my 3 year old, who may have asthma and just got out of the ER, an appointment, and was told I needed a referral. I have a PPO and shouldn't need a referral but am happy to get one before we were seen. We called back to relay this information and at least get something scheduled. Brooke was nasty and condescending, refused to let us speak to anyone else, and just from how she spoke to us, I would never want anyone who allows that attitude in their front office to treat my daughter. I have been up all night with a sick baby, I am a scared mother who desperately wants some answers and I am willing to get any paperwork I need but to be spoken to like that when my daughter is the one needing help is the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced. No one is calling here for fun! We are looking for help! Left this review on google. First review in 7 months. Suspicious that there are now EIGHT new 5 star reviews from yesterday. I would like the number to someone that is not the front desk that I can speak to. The unprofessionalism of this establishment is astounding and I will take this as high as I need to. Falsifying reviews on a restaurant is one thing. Falsifying reviews on a MEDICAL CARE FACILITY is unexplainable and unethical. If you have to fake good reviews, reevaluate your establishment and staff.

I highly recommend EIRMC Physical Therapy Specialties for rehab after a major health incident!…read more I am a spouse of a person who had double heart by-pass surgery and a stroke. Once he was released from the hospital it was highly recommended he seek rehab therapy and stroke therapy came first over heart rehab. He needed to relearn the motor skills damaged by the stroke. I am fortunate that his cognitive skills are still very much like they were before the heart attack and stroke. He just needed to get his motor skills back on his left side. His release from EIRMC allowed him to seek outpatient stroke rehab. This included Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. His releasing doctor suggested he try EIRMC Physical Therapy Specialties for rehab. We liked the care he received from EIRMC and from his doctor during rehab in hospital so we took his suggestion. I attended his first occupational therapy session and met Kyle, an occupational therapist. I was very impressed! Kyle gently assessed where he was in his retraining of his brain to use his left side again and then helped him with some exercises that challenged but didn't frustrate him too much. Relearning how to use one's left side after many years of no issues at all is a very frustrating, difficult, and stressful situation. It has taken my spouse lots of time and energy to overcome as far as he has. There is still more recovery to come, but he is definitely on the right road to regaining most if not all of the former usage of his left side motor skills. Without the gentle, but firm therapy given by these talented and well trained therapists my husband might not have gotten the usage of his body back. He would be stuck in a body only half working and frustrated more each day. He can now wiggle his fingers, talk clearly, and walk without tripping. He can even turn a door handle to open it. These are great gifts given to my husband by his therapists and we are truly grateful.
