We would like to highly recommend our wonderful builder Nick Spasov, Rigas Building Contractor. His team turned up every day without fail working 8.00am 6.00pm most nights. They have just completed what was, for us, a major building project. Stage 1: A loft conversion, with ensuite shower and toilet. This has been thoroughly insulated and finished to the highest standard. Stage 2: Extension of our elevated terrace, and construction of storage under that extension. This involved digging deep into the subsoil, as this house is built on a hill, with the land falling away steeply at the rear. All the foundations had to be dug manually, and brought through the house, as this is a typical Edwardian terrace with no rear or side access. Stage 3: Kitchen/dining room extension and modernisation. Creation of a downstairs toilet and separate utility room. Again finished to the highest standard. Nick and his team have been a pleasure to have working for us. They sensitively left us our own space, (this is a small house), and we lived here happily throughout the whole process. Rigas have just finished work on our 3 bed victorian terraced house. Main work was a loft conversion and fixing a botch job by a previous builder which had damaged our party wall. They took care of everything from planning permission to building control. I would highly recommend them and happily have them back if we do more building work. Very trustworthy, I felt happy to leave them to come and go while I was at work, and they always cleaned up every day after themselves. Nick and his team did quite a lot of interior and exterior building work for us, including putting up a huge retaining wall to keep up our garden and opening up two chimney breasts.
