Recently we had our dream house come up on the market unexpectedly and decided we wanted to take a look. We texted Chris on a Saturday morning and he let us know he would meet us at the house to look that same day. We decided we wanted to move forward that next day and within 45 days we were in our new home! Chris had our original house he helped us buy on the market and sold within TEN DAYS! He was available around the clock whenever we had questions, and if he wasn't able to answer them he would get us in touch with someone who could help us out. He will do everything he can within his power to help you purchase/sell your home, and will make sure that you get the best deal possible. We could not recommend Chris any more, and we will continue to use him in the future if we ever need to move.

Our home-buying journey began at the craziest of times in Austin real estate: January 2021. We had no idea what we were doing and were intimidated and bewildered as all hell. Matt could not have been more patient, friendly, and encouraging, and it helped our spirits immensely. We learned so much from him about how the market was going, what our best chances were, how to go about getting what we wanted....the whole shebang. Since the market was so insane and given our financial outlook, ultimately we decided to build a house in Kyle. The whole process went super smoothly thanks to Matt. Unfortunately the building process did not go so smoothly, thanks to material and labor shortages...but even though Matt's role was technically done, he helped us deal with the builder for a full 19 MONTHS between our signing for the house and closing on the house. Matt helped us get answers from the builder when they didn't respond to us; he helped us navigate the entire process. He was there for us every step of the way. I can't count how many times my husband or I said "Thank GOD for Matt!!" At the start of this whole home-buying adventure, I dreaded having to deal with a realtor. My experience with them in the past was....not great. At all. So the fact that I truly can't recommend Matt highly enough - and that my husband and I now consider Matt a friend - is just crazy to me. We will be eternally grateful to him, and we honestly don't know what we would've done without him!!

Matt, without question, made the process seamless, and helped us find our beautiful home! Matt spent the time getting to understand what my husband and I were looking for and was able to recommend neighborhoods we hadn't even considered to fit our wants and needs. More importantly, Matt was always available throughout the process, and his expertise made us confident in our final decision. When my husband had a work trip and couldn't be there for the closing, he was right by my side, so I wouldn't be handling the process alone, which is a class act, in my opinion. Matt is honest and works with the highest level of integrity. I have no reservations about recommending him to friends and have already done so! I look forward to working with him again on our next home!

One major issue I've reported multiple times is a loose stair nose that poses a serious safety hazard. Despite bringing it to their attention over 4 months ago, they have failed to fix the issue. Today, I almost fell due to their negligence, and now the stair nose is completely broken, making the stairs even more dangerous. Rai, who handles these requests, has shown no urgency in addressing this. The contractors they hire are incredibly unreliable--cancelling appointments last minute, rescheduling, and then never showing up or responding. This company's lack of professionalism and care for its tenants' well-being is shocking. I would strongly recommend against renting or buying from them, as they clearly don't take safety or customer service seriously. If I could give 0 stars I would Updated: Gregg claims they have made multiple attempts to access the property and that is a lie, they have hired two contractors, the first one never showed up even when my wife stayed home and didn't go to work. they never contacted us again The second contractor set a date and then cancel, when asking for another date I told him we weren't home that weekend cause we were going away, after this message he never tried to contacted me again. so no Gregg you have not tried to get this fixed don't blame the tenant, I have pictures with the conversations with your contractors if you want me to post them for you to see

From my first meeting with Mike, I could tell that his strategic marketing mind and meticulous attention to detail were a perfect match for me and my home. He took great care to learn about who I was, why I was motivated to sell and what I loved about my special slice of Austin. As I handed over the keys and headed north, I knew Mike would treat my house as if it were his own, from staying on top of pricing and market considerations to making thoughtful staging, photography and listing decisions. His ability to navigate every aspect of real estate gave me so much peace of mind. He and Claire pulled out all the stops to achieve my hopes of selling for top dollar in a short amount of time with the least amount of stress. They made genius moves like volunteering to host a neighbor's Open House to assess demand and price my home accordingly. They also door-knocked and hosted my neighborhood's first-ever private Open House to spread the word and tap into neighbors' networks. Every day they tackled something new. Throughout the process, they provided progress reports so I was in the loop despite being so geographically removed. Everyone's hard work certainly paid off! We received a full price offer within two days of our listing going live -- from a buyer who the team identified during the first public Open House. If you know anything about the Austin market (with properties sitting an average of 83 days at that time), my rare success was completely thanks to South Austin Homes. Zero houses in my neighborhood had sold in all of 2023, so my sale is a testament to the smart direction and dedication of Mike and Claire. Long story short: my experience with South Austin Homes was 5-star worthy in so many ways During such a stressful cross-country move, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else managing the sale of my special home. It's impossible to express how thankful I am that I chose to work with Mike and Claire, but I hope this novel gets that point across
