The conditions are excellent and the greens rolled fast and are very tough. The driving range allows you to hit any club in your bag. They recently opened up a new pool house with seating and a beautiful bar. Food was excellent. I wish I lived closer but if you get the opportunity to play here, do not pass it up. This is a very family friendly country club and the staff are really lovely and go the extra mile. Also the few families we (my husband, kids and I) already met are friendly too. The club is extremely nice...decorated modernly and a strict dress code is enforced. No cell phones unless you're in the bathroom a d a blazwr is required for all guys. The food was really good -- I got the filet, my girlfriend and her mother got the salmon...both had nothing but good things to say. My one negative was that the food took a WHILE to get out. Playing from the white tees, our foursome made it around in about 4.5 hours, standard for an outing in a scamble format. The course itself is tree lined, and there is a little water out there, so some trouble if you hit a bad shot. Which, of course, we all do. The course was on the longish side, so you do need a good drive on par fours to hope to get on in two for birdie. Our group did a few times, and the greens were flat, but with very gentle breaks at the hole. Hit a few bomb putts, but we mostly played par golf in the scamble format. The outing was with a close friend at work, I believe, for his kids Jewish school. The food was fantastic post round, and the open bar was great as well. Not sure if this is open to the public, my guess it is not, private club, but if you are ever in Wayne NJ try and check it out. Fun course.

Fairways are well manicured, greens are well kept and the rough...Is rough. I played from the blues which plays 6300yrds. Good length and whites are shorter and seem less challenging. Blues puts fairway bunkers into play. Staff is friendly but getting a tee time is tough but I was able to walk on. Price was is not cheap but I pay to play in nice places and if I want cheap I am playing on the weekday. I did play on the weekend which was pricier and did play on the weekday which was cheaper. Lay out is nice with a lot of traps and rough that can get you into trouble. It is a lot of course management. Overall a gem of of a course that will challenge you and penalize you if you spray and pray. I shot an 83 and it is my second time playing. Last time i shot an 89 a few weeks prior. Well worth the price of admission.

I wish this could be a letter of gratitude and recognition, but sadly, it is not. There was no farewell celebration. No thank-you card. No flowers or kind words to acknowledge the decades he gave to the Club. After three decades of unwavering commitment--missing birthdays, graduations, and countless special moments with family--he walked away without so much as a simple thank you. He showed up through illness, fatigue, and physical pain, always putting the needs of the members first. He remained loyal and hardworking, ensuring an exceptional experience for others, even as he himself was overlooked. It deeply saddens me to see his years of service end in silence. It took me time, and courage, to write this. But I could not let it pass unspoken. No one deserves to be treated this way--especially someone who gave so much, for so long. And yes, I am going to make this go viral :)

The wedding was threatened by rain…read moreand you would never know it was planned differently because it went off so perfectly even though there was a last minute switch to having it under a canopy instead of uncovered on grass. The food was delicious (I was a fan of the steak) and the waitstaff were so pleasant and loving. They were clearly invested in my family and our guests having a good time and I even caught one of them getting choked up during the ceremony! It was so sweet! I love a staff that isn't afraid to be present. Once again, service with a smile makes me so happy! Our time in the bridal suite was wonderful. It had everything we needed whether we knew it or not! Safety pins? Check! (those came in handy for my dress). Tums? Check! (Came in handy when a cousin felt ill). Hairspray, tic-tacs, baby powder... someone here was clearly a girl scout and learned to always come prepared! Oh and the Team Bride glasses were a big hit. Set the night off on the right foot and kept everyone laughing and smiling, especially the bride who was too distracted by the fun she was having to get nervous. Everything went according to plan. No one had to ask when the bride and groom wanted something, or how something should go. The team here had a plan, they made sure everyone knew it, and they executed it perfectly. I noticed and was very grateful that they did so because it left everyone else to enjoy the night. I'm always amazed when a wedding sorta just happens. Like, one minute there are empty chairs and an aisle and then boom there are guests in those seats and a pastor and tada music is playing and oh there's a bride walking down the aisle! When the ceremony just sorta happens as it's supposed to, without drama or fanfare, that's the sign of an extremely professional and well run staff. Not only was this a beautiful location, but they are well versed in weddings and clearly enjoy celebrating with bride and groom and their family and friends.
