And even after he had figured out that it was not his company that replaced my roof, he still came out to inspect and gave me his opinion as to what need to be done. I offered to reimbursed him for the gas (can't reimburse him for the time as his effort and time were "priceless") but he said it's all OK. You can't go too wrong with a roof builder with this much of integrity and conscience. I am sure whoever buying a roof from his company will get a well-done job on that roof. Needless to say, this company is very highly recommended!

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE REVIEW BEFORE HIRING THIS COMPANY…read more They are all crooks. They are only interested in insurance claims. They came and saw the damage and said they would get me an estimate the next day. Never heard back from them and when I called the person on the phone said someone will call you back today, but guess what, no calls or emails. They must me working on a "big" insurance claim where they are ripping the insurance company. I am just not saying this, but I am also in the service business, and when a company wants your business and only come's to see if it can be a insurance claim, and it isn't than get go poof, never hear from them again. They should at least let me know that this is to small a job and we will not able to repair your roof but I can give you several companies that might do it, that's customer service. There are some good reviews, but that is expected, but see the bad reviews and you will read that customers also had this experience after they did the whole roof which was an insurance claim and under warranty, they took the money and went to the next insurance claim. One last thing, look at different website's for reviews and you will notice that they were insurance claims.

Because…read moreof Alex, for the first time I understand what is involved with installing a new roof properly. I have had several new roofs on my house and it wasn't until I employed Maxim that I realize the previous roofers took shortcuts at my expense. The previous roofers failed to remove the old felt. Instead they improperly put a new felt over the old felt. When Maxim came, they discovered 4 layers of felt on the roof when it should have been a single layer of felt. These excess felt layers overly heated the shingles shortening their life span. Once the tiles are on the roof, most home owners are unaware their roofer short-changed them by leaving the old felt on the roof. Also Alex installed Class-4 shingles which I understand to be the toughest shingles available which can result up to a 22% insurance discount. Alex is one of the "good guy" roofers in an industry that doesn't have the best reputation. I trust Alex. Fun Fact: Alex is a strong man who can bend metal bars with just his hands...

Everyone involved - the fence people, roofers, painters, framers - were wonderful. There was not one nail left in my yard or one plant harmed after an entire re-roofing. Alex stayed on the project like a true professional and made it all painless. I was dreading this project because I am so busy; Maxim Group took it off my plate and knocked it out of the park! One of the most notable things about this group is that they were true to the estimated time window, and, they did not go one penny over our agreed budget - I have never had that happen before! TEN STARS!
