I was not comfortable with their recomendation and as Autoworks has been my first choice for repairs since moving here 5 years ago, I felt I would get an honest opinion. Levi said closed, that I should have called. I said since I had left work early to come from Cody, could he please take a couple of minutes to show me their grill guards. He said I don't need your business, but since you "pushed your way in" he could take a couple minutes. He showed me one sample, then Googled and recommended a manufacturer. $680. I thanked him, got his card and said I would think it over. My 2 minutes were up. Thought it over: 1. If they don't need my business before I buy, how would they treat me after they have my money? 2. The ads are not honest. It says stop in, not call for appointment. And I would not call this "Service next to none", as the ad says. 3. It wasted my time and Levi couldn't care less. Not customer friendly and not people friendly. I bought elsewhere for $300 and installed it myself. Honestly, if I had walked in the front door and not been treated like a parasite, I was ready and would have paid the $680. So -- thanks Levi for saving me $380!

There are several tire store in Cody but they are all closed on Sunday - making Walmart both the…read morebest and only place to come for a flat tire repair (which seems pretty common based on how many others also were seeking the same thing while I was there) or other automobile issue/need (including parts). There is a nearby AutoZone but they don't do tires nor do any of the gas stations or car rental places (according to what others told me). I called ahead but did not make or have an appointment. They said they would work me in between appointments. Due to a cancelation, they were able to start on my car within less than 15 minutes of my arrival. They also made me a fresh pot of coffee (since the pot sitting in the waiting area was out was empty) and replaced my tire's missing valve stem cover. Total cost for a flat repair was $10.40 ($10 plus tax) and less than an hour total time there. Worth the stop. This was my first time using a Walmart for any kind of car care - and overall, I am satisfied with the service and glad It was available. The closest Discount Tire (offering free flat repair) is in Gillette - way too far away to risk driving to. I'm not sure what the local tire places charge, but since they are all closed on Sundays, it doesn't matter. This is a fairly low cost and relatively quick pace to come to get an apparently common tire problem in the area fixed.
