I ordered the buffet and it was pretty good overall. I thought the food could have been a little hotter. However, the servers were nice and were very attentive to refilling my Pepsi. I recommend this Buffett for large gatherings, or to enjoy a peaceful home cooked like meal. The restaurant is super clean and they also have a bakery and store where you can buy different things. Outside of the restaurant, there's a concert hall and another gift shop. There's also the Carlisle inn which is a hotel onsite. This is also a good weekend trip, plus you are not that far from the other parts of Amish Country such as Walnut Creek, Berlin, and Millersburg.

During our visit yesterday, all of the hot buffet items were cold with the exception of the broasted chicken which was good, however it ran out for about 15 minutes as it was popular since again all the other hot entrees were cold. Additionally at least three of the buffet plates had residual food after washing. Our server was nice and attentive, however the cost wasn't worth it, given the food was cold. It's been at least a decade since I was last there and now I remember why. We should have just driven the extra 15 minutes to Walnut Creek.

This pizza place is incredible! This is top 5 best pizza I have ever had and I have eaten a lot of…read morepizza! I got the Colossal Italian and the Primo Pepperoni. The Colossal Italian had very fresh and delicious sausage on it, especially the spicy sausage! The Primo Pepperoni had old world pepperoni and lots of cheese! The sauce is incredible here because it is a nice balanced sauce that is savory but also has a hint of sweetness to it. The fresh garlic and basil really adds something amazing! The crust is not crust you will toss aside either! The staff was very helpful and courteous in explaining the toppings to me and accommodating not putting spicy sausage on the entire pizza because my wife can't eat spicy food. The restaurant had a cool ambience and feel to it. Overall, this is a must stop for any pizza lover and if you live distance away....its worth the drive! Don't miss this pizza gem in Amish country! Incredible!

We said water for our drink and they wanted to charge for water so we decided against that. We dined in. My wife's chicken sandwich came out pretty quickly. About 40 minutes later my pizza was delivered to our table. The noise of the place was terrible. The steel chairs on the hard floors echoed throughout the dining area. The pizza was delicious! Definitely one of the best pizza pies I've had. Little soggy in the center but overall it was great! My wife liked the chicken sandwich but the dressing was a little heavy, which made it a little too salty for her taste. We're excited to try different items next time! Pros: Food was great. Cons: WAIT TIME Noise Price

But we ordered off the menu since we didn't want to stuff ourselves with food. We did order a variety of items - it all tasted good, but not a stand out. I liked that the food was fresh compared to the buffet (though they did refresh the buffet often). Some of the dishes were so fascinating like noodles over mashed potatoes. Fried chicken was okay. We were excited for the pies but it wasn't warm. Staff was super friendly! And they do take credit cards. There is a separate area for the bakery where you can order without a wait. Large parking lot too!

During our trip through Ohio's Amish Country, we stopped by Yoder's Greenhouse in Apple Creek, and…read moreit was one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. The greenhouse is beautifully laid out with an incredible selection of flowers, hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, and so much more. Everywhere you look there's another burst of color, and it's obvious they take great pride in caring for their plants. Everything looked healthy, vibrant, and ready to thrive once you got it home. What I really appreciated was how peaceful the greenhouse felt. There was no pressure to hurry, so we were able to take our time walking through the aisles, admiring all the different varieties, and picking out our favorites. The staff was friendly and welcoming, answering questions without ever making us feel rushed. It's the kind of customer service you hope to find at a family-owned business. Whether you're looking to add some color to your flower beds, spruce up your porch with beautiful hanging baskets, or simply enjoy browsing one of the nicest greenhouses in Amish Country, Yoder's Greenhouse is absolutely worth the visit. We'll definitely be making another stop the next time we're in the area. If you're taking a day trip through Amish Country, be sure to add Yoder's Greenhouse to your list--you won't be disappointed!
