My flight was delayed for maintenance issues and I sat inside the required gate area and was informed... not to exit since TSa is closed. So no food, no going uber to restaurant. I'm not even sure if a door dash or delivery could come here, it's a strict couple of employees working that I wouldn't want to even ask. Beautiful big window viewing area w beautiful sunset coming in at 5 pm to 7pm... took some pics and we did exit tarmac and saw a really neat private plane... a 4 seater Cirrus SR 22... Luckily I had 2 pieces of cheese in my purse and I bought some unique items out of the vending machine.... chipotle chips peanut butter protein balls, chocolate milk, and a Vega peanut butter bran looking cookie. Not happy but grateful it wasn't just a candy machine. Pray for me that I get a flight out soon and locate dinner somehow. FML

Usually only service 1 gate so boarding or getting your luggage out from arrival is very quick. Clean and there is WiFi available if you need to do some work. This is the most peaceful campground we have ever stayed at... beautiful, clean and serene. BUT, what makes this place special are the owners. They are two of the most awesome people we have ever met and they sincerely want their guests to enjoy every single minute of their stay. Everything we needed was only a short drive, but it seemed like we were many miles away. If you have children, this may not be your place, but if you're looking for a little slice of heaven... it's right here.

They have a large stocked catch and release fishing pond for those that like to fish. So be sure to bring your fishing rod. The campground also has some very large, wide open areas for kids to run and play. The owners, Wayne and his wife are very friendly and helpful hosts. We rode the boat around and down to Washington then stopped by here on our return to the launch to drive home. It was getting to the end of the day with the air cooling down and the sun setting. This spot combined with the Blount's Creek that lets out through here made for a wonderfully peaceful and quiet setting. The docks were clean. There's a gas pump with extending hose line so you can fill your boat at the dock. Inside there's an expansive store with shirts, food, snacks, boat and camping supplies. Even tube, kayak and SUP rentals. But I would be remiss not to mention the funny and friendly staff serving up ice cream. It's not 31 flavors but I think most anyone can find something they like out of the 6 or so they have. Looking for a chill out to wrap up a day on the water? This is the place.

**RV SITE REVIEW** A…read morecouple weeks back me and my dad camped for one night at Goose Creek State Park, and we stayed at RV site #20. This RV site was fantastic. All of the sites were flat (which is what you want), and offered plenty of privacy (The sites were very spacious from one another). All RV sites consist of 30 and 50 amp hookups, as well as a connection to fresh water, and a sewage pipe. The bath house was new and clean. It was modern on the inside, offered hot water (even in 20 degrees), and was well taken care of. The camp host does a great job at taking care of this site. I would highly recommend that you stay/visit Goose Creek when you can. It is a great hidden spot that offers a wide array of trails and activities.

Walking into this house feels like stepping back in time. As you push open the heavy wooden door, the scent of aged wood fills the air. The wide-plank wooden floors creak underfoot, worn smooth by years of footsteps, yet beautifully maintained. The open foyer leads you to one of the many warm and comfortable seating rooms. Most importantly the main dining room is straight ahead, where you will enjoy not just breakfast, but a moment of indulgence, crafted with skill and passion by the owners themselves. The staircase which I would describe as the "The Gilded Climb" takes you to the second floor where many of the beautiful bedrooms are located, fully equipped with all of the amenities you would need. And if you like sleeping on a cloud, you're going to sleep like a baby in those beds. The Elmwood Bed & Breakfast Inn is not just a Bed & Breakfast, Richard and John run a boutique hotel. Feel free to choose the time and location for your morning coffee or tea, you can also do the same for your breakfast. The bar / lounge is also a great place to enjoy one of the many complimentary drinks offered, and for happy hour there is even more. It's not just a place to stay, it is an experience, a very fine one at that. Cheers!
