My girlfriend is in this hospital and she is a single mother. I am with her children while she is in there and they keep telling my girlfriend she is being discharged the following day for several days now. It has been almost a week since her 7 year old daughter has seen her and she misses her mother so I took her to visit her mom. These people here treated this child like an animal and told me she couldn't even be in the building at all and couldn't even be in the lobby and wasn't old enough to see her mother. What the heck is wrong with these people? If she were a teen ager she would have been able to but because she is younger and at the age developmentally where she needs visits with mom they make her go outside like an animal. This hospitals policy is age discrimination, lacks compassion and is damaging to the mental well being of children and parents in this case a mother who is trying to heal and a visit from her youngest child would lift her spirits and help her do that. Who in the world thinks this policy is beneficial to anybody. Children carry the same germs as adults but in cases like kovid don't generally spread it as easily because they get sick less easily and when they do the symptoms are mild which would mean they are barely shedding the virus unlike adults who get it. It is almost like the people writing this policy have a problem with children and have a total lack of compassion. They definitely don't have children of their own and if they do they lack that strong family bond with them most likely because they spend all their time at the hospital and don't have the time for their families. I guess misery does love company and if they can't have a bond with their children they want to make sure your children suffer as well. Don't go there if you are going to be a while and you have young children unless you want your child told they can't see their mom or dad and that they have to go wait outside in the rain because they are unwelcome inside the building. I am beyond pissed.

I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. Check in was fast, everyone was friendly, place looked clean.

I wish I could leave more stars for the nurses and other staff but less stars for Dr. Daniel…read moreSadoma. This doctor was rude and dismissive from the start. I understand that the ED is busy but I didn't choose him to work there, he did. so the being busy thing cant be a good excuse. Doctor Daniel Sadoma wouldn't contact my surgical team after they were the ones who sent me to the ED. He was obsessed with an issue that I didn't go in for and I very clearly told him was not my problem. I reviewed the notes after I left and he actually lied on the documentation about the exam he provided. The paper work stated that he checked my eyes, lungs, etc. standard triage stuff. He never did any of that. He actually lied saying we discussed changing my routine around constipation too. He didn't discuss any changes with me. Nothing was even talked about in regards to the pain that I came in for. Literally zero pain management options were brought up. That sad I have no interest in pain meds. I wanted to be treated properly. This doctor didn't even do the bare minimum in that regard. Just the fact that I told him repeatedly that I was a bariatric patient and that my team from this same hospital sent me there and he decided that wasn't important. At one point he asked me if they wanted me admitted and I said I don't know why don't you contact them. He replied that he only contacted specialist if he had a reason to! I guess that specialist literally telling me to do he ED wasn't a good enough reason. I don't even live near Roseville, I only drove here because this is where my surgical team is! BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME TO GO HERE! Avoid Doctor Daniel Sadoma at all costs. there are way better doctors here and if you end up with this man ask for someone else or push hard to get proper care because he won't listen to you. maybe it's because I am a woman. or maybe he just thinks he knows better than my surgical team. Maybe it's garden variety doctor arrogance.

They registered you, take your name etc. , triage you next , take your vitals etc. Then you wait until your name is call out. The waiting room was packed. A woman is literally vomiting and I didn't want to listen to it so I sat very far away from her. A lady was on the phone talking about Easter dinner. I didn't want to catch anyone cooties in there so I'm wearing a mask. And I'm the one in there wearing one. I don't wear masks anymore. I was so gross out. I moved several times. I brought a book to read with me and I was extremely tired. 1 hour passed by and still haven't called my name. Few mins after that, they called me. I met with doctor, he asked why I'm in there. My asthma flare up and I need treatment and I'm out of medication until I get PCP (doctor) establish. He checked my chest and back. He said he is going to order cheat X-rays and start treatment. He needs find extra room so that can start. He walked me back to the waiting room. 30 mins later, my name gets called. The lady took me to get chest X-ray done then back to waiting room. Tell me why there was K9 untit walking around and they were cops everywhere. Plus the security guards. It's the emergency room. Finally my name gets called again. By then it's like 4pm,,, I was starving. She explained she is going to give me meds and asthma breathing treatment. I asked for the mouth piece versus the over the face mask. She said it's going to last 45 mins long. We started the treatment and it did last 45 mins. I was over stimulated from the breathing treatment and my heart was racing. I just wanted to get out of there. The doctor came back and asked if was feeling better. I told him yes. He checked my chest and back. Then I was discharged. It took 3 1/2 hrs to be seen and left.

When arrived in pain, the intake nurse remained calm and asked me for my information. Lucky for me, on this day, it was not long before they took me back and checked me in. They took my vitals, temperature and assigned me to a clean sanitized bed. After talking to me for a little bit, they gave me a warm blanket and an IV with something for the pain. Most of the nurses were very caring. Nurse Julie was the most compassionate and kept me up to date on what to expect. She made sure I was comfortable and warm. Dr. Ewyee was saving someone life just a few rooms down... it reminded me of how previous life can be. If it weren't for Dr. Eywee, I would not have had the great team I have today working on my health. Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital has a great team and after a few visits, most of the staff has shown they go above and beyond medical needs. I am so thankful for Nurse Julie and Dr. Eywee
