I had a very disappointing experience with Heathwood Photography, and William Michael (the owner)…read more It was a reminder of why you can't trust any service provider. I hired William Michael of Heathwood Photography for an event and we signed a contract. He requested that his fee be paid in full before the event, which I did. Everything went on smoothly during the event and I thought that the relatively high price he charged was paying off with good quality and service. That was until the date I was due to receive the photos. The contract stated that I was to receive the photos within 8 weeks. This seemed like a long period of time but I was assured that it was the maximum amount of time, that it usually takes less time, and that it was in order to allow the highest quality of work done on the photos. To make a long story short, when the due date arrived I did not receive the photos. When I contacted William, he told me the photos were not ready and kept putting me off with vague timelines. This went on for close to a month. When I mentioned the contract stated 8 weeks William was unimpressed and just flat out told me it would take longer. Only when I started to suspect I was scammed and start looking into lawyers did I finally get the photos, close to 3 months after the event. Before the event, he showed me various album options I could get my photos in, but when I asked about albums I did not get a response. I decided to cut my loses and get one elsewhere. In summary, William Michael comes through as a very honest and reliable individual but unfortunately that is not the case. He did not respect our contract and caused me lots of stress and aggravation. I would strongly discourage anyone from using his services.

We struck wedding-photographer-gold with Jashim, no question! Super talented, has a great eye for…read moreinteresting, creative (but not overly artsy) shots. Our wedding pictures are fantastic! A combo of non-cheesy poses, fun candids + simple décor shots. With the posed shots, it took a while to trust Jash's directions (2 one-hour pre-wedding sessions actually!). Poses felt awkward. But he knows what he's doing; the pictures came back looking natural. Without those sessions to allow us to get used to the camera, the wedding day would've been a lot less comfortable. The day-of, Jashim arrived + went straight to work. Other than the few times he purposely pulled us aside to get specific shots, he went unnoticed. We went about our evening; he captured it all without getting in the way. His turnaround is fast. He had a few teaser pictures on his blog within 2 weeks, the balance online 2 weeks later. His prices are very fair + competitive. He made himself available, easily reachable to answer questions, bounce ideas off of, etc... Didn't show any impatience/frustration (even though I was a very needy bride!). Having first obsessed over Jash's blog and now our pictures, I can tell that in addition to his style and to some degree his personality, he also reflects the couple's personality in each pic very well. He doesn't take cookie-cutter pictures, and while there is definitely a common Jashim thread, they are all very different from each other. I know ours represent us and our wedding perfectly. The one thing I would maybe complain about now (if this even is a complaint) is that the pictures are so great, I can't get enough of them and I want more, more, more!!! Couldn't be happier with Jashim. We had high expectations; with no videographer, it was crucial that the photos come back PERFECT! He didn't just meet them; he exceeded them by far. Will be recommending him for years! Bottom line, if he's available on your wedding day, you would be a fool not to hire him!

We were fortunate to have been selected as part of a trial run in his family documentary section, and I will say that this guy definitely knows what he's doing and has not only an eye for quality but a passion for photography that's clear in each image he captures! Jashim spent a long long day with us as a family, and that's not always easy for someone who isn't use to being around children. Immediately he took the time to connect with my kids, ages 4 and 7, and took the time to make them comfortable and put them at ease as he cautiously took snaps of them both candid and posed. He was able to capture our family dynamics, and when we looked back at the images, we were so happy with them. They were outside and beyond the typical posed family portraits, the pictures had life and a story behind it, and I can't thank Jashim enough for his hard work and efforts behind it. If you're ever in the lookout for a photographer who not only is looking to take a few pics, but wants to give you a personal experience, definitely recommend Jashim. He's highly professional yet extremely personable and the entire experience will be one to remember.

He understood exactly what we were looking for and fully executed. He was very flexible as we had to change dates due to covid without any extra charges. The package pricing is also unbeatable - for other photographers we looked into pricing for just wedding photos was the same or more compared to our package with NG Studio which included our engagement shoot, photo and video for the wedding (with Nour another photographer and two videographers + a drone), one full album, two smaller albums for our families, and 3 USB drives. For our engagement shoot, I was able to coordinate with Nour ahead of time to get both photos and video footage of me surprising my husband with his early wedding gift. We loved the engagement session since we were able to get to know Nour better and get more comfortable in front of the camera. He was so helpful by providing us with poses. For our actual wedding, I was nervous about being able to get all 80+ of my relatives in a group photo but Nour's team was able to get the shot! Nour is incredibly accommodating and so friendly. They gave us a link to our full gallery 4 weeks after our wedding. If you're also going with video, I'd recommend selecting or at least considering which ~10 songs you'd like for your video since my husband and I were slow about picking them.
