My wife and I bought a matching set of wedding rings and bought the extended warranty so if anything happened we would be covered and part of maintaining that is taking them back for cleaning which we did or should say tried to do. We explained to the lady at the desk what we were there for and she looked up our account showing our purchase and everything we had bought at that point she said she could clean them for us if we had the original paperwork with us so she could sign off on it. I informed her that we did not nor did i read anything about needing the paperwork to get the cleaning done, at which point i asked since we are in the system can she not just make a note that we came in for the cleaning in the computer, she said no but then said she could print a copy of the warranty out for us if we need the copy but then said she could not sign off on it either which made no logical sense to me because that means that a printed out copy from them means nothing nor will they uphold the warranty on a printed copy. At this point it was nothing more than making us jump through hoops and her having fun doing it, we left and will never return to that store, to hell with riddles and the warranty!! and yes i did read the warranty again and still can not find anything about having to have the original for signing. All i can say is if they are going to treat us like that, and we spent some money with them and they could have cared less. Hope you come out better but at least think of going to another retailer first! read more
