We were very lucky as their calendar was filling up fast for Spring 2016, but May 7 was still available. Although we had not heard them personally (we live out of state) we booked Airwave and were in for quite a treat. Working with Ted could not have been easier. We had concerns due to the layout of Union Terminal (our ceremony and dancing were in one room and dinner in another). Ted worked directly with our venue to coordinate the setup, breakdown, sound systems and other small details. Additionally, he put us in contact with his keyboardist, Joel Crabtree, to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour. In advance of the wedding, Ted had us review the song list and highlight any music we definitely did or did not want to hear, as well as identify our first dance, father-daughter and mother-son songs. This was great as he made sure we heard the genre and style of music our guests would most enjoy. The day of the wedding was nothing short of amazing. The band arrived to setup and Joel did an excellent job during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Then, the real fun started. We had told Airwave that our guests would be a party crowd and to make sure they stayed on the dance floor. They did that and so much more. They played all the music we requested, including a specially prepared version of "The Hora" that transitioned into Rocky Top. These little touches made the night extra special and our dance floor was full the whole night with guests, young and old. Not just being a "fun" wedding band, Airwave is also very talented. The different members of the band allow them to perform all different genres, from Motown to country and everything in between. Our guests all commented how impressed they were with the band. Airwave certainly met and exceeded all our expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band in the future.

He is so professional, funny, stays out of the way, but of course, does his job, and does it so well. He has all of the music you would want, and he is great at keeping the event flowing along. He is talented, reliable, trustworthy, and professional. For my event, I had to continually check in with other vendors over and over and over. With Greg, one conversation was all I needed. He kept assuring me that he would be fine and would need little direction. He was right. He is fantastic and our guests loved him. Also three of my friends used him and his band for their weddings and were extremely pleased. He is worth every penny (his prices are reasonable) and I plan on hiring him whenever possible.

Greg is exactly the kind of person you want to be part of your big day. I booked him about a year out from our wedding, so make sure to plan ahead when you're booking with DJ Butlers! We had a timeline run-through meeting about a month out from the big day, where we also discussed what songs we liked/didn't like for different parts of the reception. My husband is a very big music guy, and Greg really impressed him with some of his recommendations and industry knowledge. We had a live band playing during the ceremony and cocktail hour, but Greg still made sure to arrive a few hours before the ceremony to ensure everything was set up and ready to go -- and even to provide a microphone for our minister. During the reception, not only was Greg rocking it with the tunes -- but he also made sure to check in with my husband and me periodically to see if we needed another drink, or anything else. Greg also really knows how to work a crowd -- with a careful balance between staying on schedule and making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. We truly believe Greg was a perfect addition to our team of vendors -- and he really was so much more than a DJ. We cannot recommend him enough -- and can't thank him enough for all of the hard work and attention to detail he put into our special day.

We had the entire quartet play, and they added to the elegance of the day with their top notch music. We enjoyed them because they were very accommodating to our music requests (they learned a new song, Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" for our ceremony, and they played the Beatles "All You Need is Love" as the exit song at our request), and they did a great job of mixing Top 40 songs (Coldplay and the Beatles) with the traditional wedding music. All in all, it was money well spent, and they did a great job of hustling to the reception hall afterwards to handle the cocktail hour music too. Awesome quality for the price, and they did a great job.
