Locals will remember this location as the former Crooked Lotus, but is now a comfy, cozy adjustment into a well stocked cocktail bar. The staff is great (ask for Sara) and the menu is a simple, yet creative blend of simple favorites and original recipes. The ambience is a soft, warm setting with a random but fun mix of playlist music and live performances. Check the placard on stage for the schedule. The liquor selection isn't the world's biggest, but it is stocked with some good, above average choices that non-beginners will appreciate. There is also a good selection of wine, as well as some limited tap options (call ahead to confirm taps are flowing. Seasonal traffic impacts the flow). Whether it's a private affair, celebration of sorts, one-on-one meetings, or catching a breath after a long stretch, Centerfire is a must stop for anyone. The prices are reasonable and the quality stands above the local average of the area. Enjoy!

The tap selection is pretty decent and the staff are friendly and happy to help. Specialty drinks are not anything special to brag about but hey, it's not a typical expectation of a venue like this. The bar has two pool tables and a great little game section in the back. There is a great amount of seating within the place and it's outfitted with some extras (i.e. beer tubs, tiki bar, private lounging area) that can make those special occasions even more so. There is also a nice patio/smoking area outside if needed. The music is a hit or miss however. The live performances almost always satisfy, but when there isn't, the bar becomes similar to an early 2000's sweet 16. Outdated pop music and radio ruined rap tends to linger and the DJ's often CANNOT read a room to change it. You almost wish the jukebox was available for the crowd to keep control. All in all, if you need somewhere to kick back, get out of the house (or bricks room) then give the Hawg a chance. Just don't get the hopes up. It's a pleasant visit for anyone at least once.
