I like this place a lot. Nice, clean, cool. Not really a big fan of strippers, but it's a cool place, and they have a great lunch. It's like $7 and is a buffet with prime rib, shrimp, good stuff like that. As strippers go, the girls here are nice, usually good looking, and they're naked. So I guess they cover all the bases pretty much. I went in here years ago when it was the Red Garter, and compared to that dump this place is ritzy. What a difference. read more

During Denver Comic Con, my friends and I did some imbibing, and somehow ended up in La Boheme when we found out that it was free admission with our convention passes. The drinks were weak and overpriced. The women were beyond lovely. It was your typical pervy strip club experience. I've been to LaBo a few times in the past and although I have had a few good times in the past it has never been my first recommendation. The one star is based primarily on my last visit there. During that visit I was welcomed by rude bouncers, mediocre dancers, a talentless DJ, and watered-down drinks. When questioning the manager about the drinks he refused to even entertain the idea. Mind you I wasn't trying to get free drinks, just wanted the issue addressed...I even offered to buy another round to drink with him so I could prove it and he could see for himself. He refused to let another shot even be poured out of the bottle for our party. Bouncers are also there to look for reasons to kick patrons out and have no customer service skills. Not a good way to conduct business. I will keep my associates and my future business away from here. read more

I used to work across the street from this place and loved going over after work on Sunday nights for service industry night. No cover, cheap drinks, pretty girls, nice staff, and a clean environment. I went in last weekend for the first time in a while and they charged me a $15 cover, even though their website said it was $10. The guys standing in line before me were charged $10 and when I asked about it, the hostess said those guys got a military discount. I NEVER saw them pull out a military ID. So I paid $15. Not the biggest deal, right? Well, it gets worse. Once in the club I was approached by a dancer gto buy a private dance (it's what they do). I was celebrating and thought "why not?" I had never had one here before. I asked how much it was and the dancer said $20. After the dance she told me it was $40. There is not much you can do at that point but pay the money. I FELT LIKE THEY ROBBED ME! What worse is that I have sent hundreds of people to La Bohem who have walked in to bar I work at and are looking to have some fun in Denver. I feel like such an asshole, if that's how they opereate. I will NEVER send anyone there again. read more

So on Sat after a full day of drinking at GABF we decided that it would be fun to stop on by... plus no cover with your ticket!! So we went in to find one stripper for 50 people. First off as a strip club enthusiast, the location was right beside my hotel at the Aloft Denver Downtown. Made for being able to stumble into your room nice and easily. That alone makes it perfect. Wasn't a seedy strip club. $10 cover charge I guess is normal. I'm from Canada 3 main stages 2 coyote ugly style stages on the bar I thought for a Friday not as many dancers. They also didn't walk around much asking for dances like they do in Vegas. A lot of them stood at bar hoping to get patrons to pursue them. Didn't know on main stages that you can touch the dancers. I didn't myself, like everyone else did as I know in Vancouver you can't do that. So didn't want to do something I'm not use to. Didn't drink but my friend said if you go to the bar (instead of waitress) its cheaper. Now what didn't make my night. Nothing to do with the strip club itself. I know (from lots of experience something I'm proud of) that the dancers are independent contractors. So on the coyote ugly style stage, there was once dancer that is my type (an all American blond girl) that I was interested in. I chit chatted with the bartender to send her to look for me. After about I would say, 45 minutes, I saw (I have no idea where she went) she was going to perform on one of the 3 stages. So I got my ass to the stage and had a couple of $1 laying on the stage. After skipping me a couple of times she finally notice me and crawled up to me to put on a public private show. As she leaned in and asked if I was having a good time, I whispered to her lets talk private dance after. She said definitely and even turned down the dude beside me when he asked (I heard him and I heard her turn that guy down for me). After she was done (and collecting her $1s) I would have thought she was coming right over (I was looking at the stage (at next girl) not looking directly at her to see if she was coming. After a few glances I noticed her at the bar (hanging out with a couple of regulars I presume) and then all of sudden disappear. After about 45 minutes (being generous here) I was standing at bar and she totally just walked by me not even looking in my direction. It actually looked like she was trying to find me. After the second time she walked by me, I was about to walk out. But she still had the look she was trying to find me. Then she noticed me (I was dress really nice and Asian so I kind of stand out) and raced over to me and put her arm around me. She's taller than me (I'm 5'7") so I really liked looking up to her. As we talked, obviously with my Las Vegas stripper experience and knowing how they operate, she got to the private dance part. Not going to explain $$$ part and I said I wanted her for at least 15 minutes. She was definitely into it and she said to wait (she was supposed to perform on the coyote ugly stage soon) and went to talk to somebody. She came back and said that she had to perform a quick set. I'm like really. She was on there for I would say 3 songs and at that point I booked it. She was popular as there was a following dropping $1s (like I said tall, blond and all American). I didn't bother to check how many but she could have made at least $200 off of me. People that know me know I would not specifically spend that much on one girl if I was not into her like I was with this one. I would have thought that dancers would prefer the private dances knowing how much they can make instead of dancing in front of patrons dropping $1s or looking for free looks. I was really upset as a strip club enthusiast, but I digress, this was my first bad experience with a dancer that did everything she could do, to blow me off, metaphorically speaking. read more

Great club! Girls weren't pushy at all. Very female customer friendly. Seems to be a variety of entertainers for all tastes. The club seems to be on the smaller side but is still very nice. I think they have 3 main stages (no poles) and a couple bar top stages with poles. I believe my husband and I got hustled during one of our private couples dances though- the dancer told us the amount and when we pointed to the sign she claimed the sign was "old/ outdated" and the price it listed was incorrect... But our second private couples dance made up for it. The woman was very down to earth and pleasant. (Btw, you can choose just topless or fully nude for the private dances!) Let me begin by saying I have never been much for "Gentlemen's Clubs." Let's just say I'm just very protective of my "personal space." I just went to Vegas with the boys and had to deal with one girl after another pushing themselves up on me at a local strip club they all wanted to go to. Sitting on my lap without invitation, pushing dances on me, etc., etc. One even told me "I could take her shopping" the next day (how thoughtful of her, huh?) and I even gave one $20 just to leave me alone! Going to LaBo (as the locals call it) is a completely different experience. When I have to describe this place to someone who has never been, I say it is "Like a great bar with benefits." The setup is basically two bars on either side with stages in the middle. One can either enjoy a good conversation while chilling at the bar, or for a little more action, move to one of the stages or floor tables. Or for those high-rollers, you can even get a private suite or take over the VIP lounge. The key being: It's your choice! The bar staff consists of beautiful, smart, engaging servers comprised of both males (Dan, Brian and Kevin, etc.) and females (Jenny, Heather, Emma, Brooke, Lexi, Amy, Kimberly, the list goes on and on) . There are drink specials on different nights of the week, and I think it speaks volumes that a lot of other local bartenders/staff from area clubs frequent Labo on a regular basis. I have referred numerous friends, clients and business associates to Labo and have never heard anything but praise and thanks in return. I must say I never thought I would frequent a strip club, but when it comes to the experience at Labo, I don't hesitate to consider myself lucky to have found it. This review might sound a bit one-sided, but I have to admit to being won over and give credit where it is due. The girls are pretty much all natural which I think is great and they're so down to earth and nice. I am really surprise about the treatment that I recived from La Boheme. Was a monday night and few man was inside the local, and for shure I was the only tourist from Europe there. For first like alaways I use to take the first drink directly on the bar for sit there and look around a little bit .............. In the mean time I decide how to spend my money. There was a little group of female waiters just near me and they talking with some guys ........ for shure locally friends. Well I don't demand that girls in this kind of local jump on my arms, but just a minimun of liking and courtesy. On the other hand the guys and the waiters looking me with suspect and the lady refuse also to bring me a drink and suggest to ask directly to the barmaid .............. in poor words me was been completely ignored. Ok I know in Denver there are much more man than women and there is a lot of hungry but La Boheme is not a private club you don't need to be invited and is not necessary to be so jealous looking that is business, and me is a tourist and is normal that tourists have lot's of money to spend. if some foreigner came inside with pleasent appearence and appropiate dress why must be recive all of this shit from natives ? I had always seen La Boheme as I was walking to the nearby coffee shop, Leela's European Cafe (which is incredibly I may add). Since I'd passed it by for years, I decided to try la boheme out. This was my first time going to a gentlemen's cabaret, and I found myself pleasantly surprised. I assumed that I would be walking into a smoke filled atmosphere with risque girls, but what I found was completely different. The atmosphere was clean, the girls were gorgeous and best of all, they were very friendly and conversational. I found myself at ease talking to one girl in particular named Kai, who introduced me to the world of gentlemen's cabarets. She laid down the rules for me, telling me what I should and should not do and when to tip. I had a delightful time sipping drinks and watching everyone in the club. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. Me and my roommates have become regulars down at ol la bo! I love the crowd that frequents this place. Everyone from skaters to businessmen all down to have a good time together. From the moment i walked in until the moment i left i had a good time. The girls were beautiful and didn't hound me at all but gave just the right amount of attention to make me feel wanted. There is no stigma like there is at other strip clubs. When i go in i feel like i'm going to see all of my friends PLUS ladies taking their tops off. i wouldn't have it any other way. Don't forget to close out your tab out(my fault.) I thought my boyfriend did. You will end up with the 2 most expensive shots on your tab totaling $60 for the 2 shots which we have NOT taken in our life. Don't do shots period. I called to politely speak with the manager. I told him we are very much regulars and i was disappointed that 2 very expensive shots were added to our tab because we "didn't close out". He instantly was rude and within 2 seconds feeding me a story I was screaming at the bar tender and she had to take care of me. That I then walked out without closing my tab because i didn't want to pay my tab. Why would i come back and get my card and ID if i didn't want to pay my tab. I was the driver that night. We had a total of 3 drinks on our tab and the 2 shots. I asked him to provide me with a time the shots were rang it. He took my number said he would call me back. Do you think he called me back NO. The girls were great. They approached my friends and I but were never real pushy about getting dances. This place is awesome. I always love coming here, either by myself or with my friends. The girls are always hot and tons of fun to whoop and holler it up with. The staff always makes me feel comfortable and takes great care of me. I also love to taste around in their scotch and bourbon collection. Great for a guy who doesn't want to sit around guzzling 30 oz beers. I've only had one opportunity to bring clients here, but La Boheme is classy and they had a great time. I'm a fellow dancer so I was really excited to go in here after hearing all the cool things about this place... I walked in with my girlfriend and we immediately bought drinks before getting $200 in ones and sitting down at a table. Most of the girls were super rude and catty and just stood at the bar gesturing towards us and making snide remarks. We were trying to ignore them and have a good time (there's always drama when you work somewhere like that so we knew the drill and just stayed out of it) until we were throwing all of our money on one girl who was working her ass off on stage and as soon as we got back to the table we were sitting at there was security asking us to leave?? Apparently one of the girls working (I don't remember her name, started with an L? Lisa? Lydia? Lasso? I don't know) told the security that we were threatening her by being there somehow. We won't be bringing our business back here, that's for sure. Other than that the club is very small, there are no poles except for one on the bar, and the girls are coked out of their faces. Went on a Wednesday night with a group of friends. First off, some girls in my group were a little anxious(it was their first time and they felt overwhelmed) the door guy obviously could read them like a book because he targeted them and made them laugh so hard that they instantly felt comfortable. After that we headed in and saw beautiful girls, had great service from staff, drinks were a little pricey but expected because it's not your average strip club and two of us got lap dances which were average priced.
