First off I would like to state that this establishment is truly a gem. This is what you call "The Go To". I tend to be very picky with myself and establishments. However I believe this place offers the overall best experience you can have in chicago. When factoring in quality of service, cleanliness, alcohol/food, price, entertainers, location, safety and experience. This is your top pick for chicago. Rather you want a spot to escape your problems, have a celebration, night out/night cap. I am a chicago native and have attended this place many times. If you're in chicago this is definitely the best place to attend. The local chicago competitors are nowhere near the overall quality. The location is beautiful, it's LOCATED in clybourn, next to old town. If you're not familiar with this area, it is a very well taken care of neighborhood and one of Chicago's nicest neighborhoods at that!. QUALITY OF SERVICE: you will be greeted by a professional doorman/security dressed in a suit. To me details are everything, and speaks volumes. As you enter in the corridor you will be greeted again by more professional inviting staff. If you want a great time ask for Midori, Shes awesome and will liven up your party! You and your entire party will be escorted to a great seating area where they will ensure you have the best service. After that it's solely up to you on what you're looking for ( The world is yours) . If you're celebrating, they have bottle service. If you're there to escape problems you can sit at the bar or have a seat at a lounge chair with table where you can enjoy company and a show while drinking a refreshing beverage. You will be approached a few times throughout the night by managers dressed in suits to ensure you have a quality experience. CLEANLINESS: this place is well kept, Clean and most importantly SANITIZED! To me this is one of the more important things to factor in when choosing the right place. Because if a place does not care to keep itself clean and put together, then more than not they won't truly care for the customers experience. DRINKS/FOOD: they just opened a brand new kitchen, I have not yet tried the food but the menu looks great. Drinks are Great as well. Some other establishments try to upcharge your drinks to make a quick extra buck. but I always thought ricks drinks were reasonably priced. Now you have some extra money to spend on entertainers. For the most important topic..... SAFETY: safety is paramount, especially at these types of establishments. So I was in Chicago for my friend's bachelor party and we decided to make a stop a Ricks. I had read the reviews online and everything seemed to be on the up and up, so it seemed like a good choice. Some reviews I noticed indicated that they make a hard sell at the door for a VIP package. Ostensibly the benefit is you get a bottle(s), server, and a table. Okay. Bachelor party, it seemed like a good idea. Wrong. We were having a great time, the women were beautiful and very friendly, looking to be a fun night. A couple friends left after a while and the couple of us that were left decided to go for some private dances. My friend went for 15 minutes and I went for 30. In the time he was gone, our table had been cleared out with our half full bottle, along with personal items (coats, phone, etc). Instead, there was a new group of people now occupying what was our table that we paid over $400 for. When we asked to speak to a manager, a guy by the name of TJ was brought over. He had checked on us a couple times earlier in the night and seemed nice enough. But now he was a completely different person. Standoffish and fumbling over his words when we pressed him on what the hell happened. We managed to get our personal items back (less the half bottle of vodka we had paid for) but he tried to tell us that the table wasn't really ours for any set length of time. Okay, then what the hell did we pay for? If I could give Rick's zero stars I would. I will not be coming back here ever again, and I would recommend everyone else avoid this place like the Coronavirus. There are plenty of other clubs out there that offer just as good VIP packages, that don't give away your table and alcohol while you are off paying for the services of their employees for 15 minutes. read more

I'm from New York and I came here to have a good time, relax, and have a little fun, like you should at gentlemans club, but the girls are so rude!! They walk up and ask for a dance, no "hello" no " hi my name is...." no "hey hows it going" none of that, just "want a dance" lol it's embarrassing if u ask me. there acting money hungry over a $1, this girl asked me to smack her ass then started begging me for a $1, and wouldn't leave me alone or let it go, every couple minutes she would come back and start arguing and begging me for a dollar!! They don't do nothing and they expect to be tipped, I just had an Asian chick or whatever she wants to be called take my $20 for a lap dance and said "don't touch me, it's only $20, u just sit there and watch" and just walked away with my money when I asked why, that was not nice but it's cool I understand these girls are hungry if only they had good manners. I mean I bought 2 tiny bottles of water for $10 and left a $5 tip to the waitress named Tiffany, who by the way was the nicest, polite, respectful, cool funny, chill person there!! Wish i could put 0 stars. The manager of this place is one miserable human. He blocks his dancers blessings. He stereotypes customers based on race. He assumed I was trying to make money in there as a customer because I looked good and people threw money at me but any time money was thrown my way I instantly put it on the stage. We had a section with a bottle but I had gone to the bar to get shots of a different liquor and this miserable man just couldnt fathom the customers talking to me and demanding I go sit in my section and stay there. Since when are you not allowed to go to the bar in a strip club? The best part was we had 4 of us wanting to go to a private room with a few of the girls ready to spend a few thousand right. So we tell the girl on stage we want her and this other girl when they are done on stage come to the private room. While we are waiting on her, mr. miserable human comes in and damn near shit his pants that we had left the section again and kicked us out. Bad business. As someone who has worked in this industry I can firmly say I would never work for tht man nor work in his club. And as a customer I will never go to any ricks caberet ever again. This place is complete trash. The security is racist and selective on who they let in because they let in a Caucasian couple in, but didn't let my brother and friend in who are minorities because they said they're closing even though we came an hour before closing, but clearly multiple couples came out of the bar. I highly don't recommend this bar because they're clearly supporting oppression of minorities this isn't right what so ever. The security were of Hispanic and African American decent, but still told us we weren't allowed what so ever. So, if you're supporting this bar I highly suggest you consider a different location. In time and age of controversy you'd think they would be wiling to allow minorities allowed in. But I guess white supremacy is still dominated in the U.S. and specifically in Chicago IL. read more

Went last night and had an amazingly positive experience. Was greeted when I came in. I sat at the bar and one host Named Cleveland came over and introduced himself. I ordered my drink, bartender was super cute and friendly. Girls were beautiful. Had a great time ! I hope Im remembering her name correctly but Alex the waitress was also super nice. I went here recently and WOW, this place has now become my favorite gentleman's club. The staff is extremely professional - from the bartenders to the security, everyone treated me great!
