Picked up a bag of the Pecan Brittle at the Big Shanty Festival this weekend. Absolutely best brittle I've ever had!

This place is a gem in Peachtree City. I had the opportunity to go there on a recent trip and heard…read moregreat things about it from a friend who lived in the area. I went for lunch with a friend for a bday outing. Since it's cold, there's a black covering that makes it looks closed, but don't worry, they're open. The inside is clean and pretty much looks new. We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever had and was paired with some warmed up pita. I'm usually not a big fan of lentils but the soup was good. The broth had a nice flavor. I got the half order of Shish Tawook for myself and my friend got the falafel wrap. The half is quite filling and still very delicious. The chicken was moist for the most part as in between the pieces they felt kinda overcooked but all in all very good and seasoned well. The vegetables were also seasoned well. Beirut is a great place to go out for a nice outing without going downtown!

I ordered Brenda's Red Snapper and it was outstanding -- perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of vibrant flavor. Easily one of the best snapper dishes I've ever had. For dessert, I tried the Baklava Cheesecake and WOW... the perfect fusion of classic baklava with a rich, creamy cheesecake. It was unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend Beirut to anyone looking for truly authentic Lebanese cuisine!

Farm-to-table dining is the central core at Austin's and the menu boasts a focus on rotating seasonal dishes and bar snacks. The beverage menu lists skillfully crafted cocktails using botanicals from local farms, including ones on the property, to create unique cocktails with herbal and floral flavors...no premade mixes or lower quality liquors here. On my latest visit we arrived just in time for Saturday night jazz (9pm-11pm $10 cover charge per guest). Unfortunately there was a mixup with the jazz artist scheduled to perform that night, through no fault of the restaurant, and the entertainment started about an hour late. However once the show started and the lighting dimmed, it added a different vibe to the entire restaurant that both the diners and employees thoroughly enjoyed. The jazz artist was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were seated at the bar but had a perfect view since the establishment is fairly small. We dined on the Little Gem Caesar which consisted of grilled lettuce, burnt garlic, anchovies, and lemon ($15). The Crispy Rice Salad which is locally sourced Serenbe Farms greens, cucumber, pickled carrot and daikon, peanuts, edamame, fried shallots ($19), The Short Rib dinner with fermented honey, crispy potatoes, crushed herbs, Jus, chilis, garlic, pickled shallots ($39). For our cocktails, we enjoyed the Austin's mule, the Tropic of Cancer, and the Front Porch Swing. All were delicious! The food was also enjoyable. The only downside was the portion sizes of some of the dishes. The Little Gem Ceaser for example consisted of only 2 romaine lettuce leaves and a wedge of lemon. It definitely left you yearning for more. There was also a halibut dish that we've had on a past visit that was the size of my palm with no sides or salad to accompany it. Other than that, Austin's is a must. From the ambiance, to the thoughtful presentation and flavor of the food and drinks, as well as the exceptional service. It's a definite go-to when wanting that night life feel away from the city.

AMBIANCE (4/5): Tons of indoor & outdoor patio seating, although it seemed like everyone pre-ordered or picked up to go. They have 2 long communal tables and a ton of 2-4 people tables. The wood tables make it look rustic, pop music playing so it's not awkwardly quiet. SERVICE (3/5): You order at the counter first, a single cashier, but it goes fairly quickly. Most of the staff is in the back kitchen. It's more "serve yourself". You grab your own drinks from the fridge, all utensils, napkins, and water are already on the table, and throw your own trash away, everything is in disposable containers. FOOD (4/5): $22 BUILD YOUR OWN BOWL: I personally didn't like the signature rice, I wanted the crispy rice fritters but they were sold out at 1:30pm on a Friday. The crispy Brussels were AMAZING! Definitely get this for a (+$2.50 upgrade). Bulgogi ribeye was sweet and delicious! Cashier offered a side of spicy Korean sauce which I didn't realize I'd be charged for, just wish she told me it was an additional cost (+$0.75). It doesn't need any extra sauce, the bowls are very saucy! And I'm a heavy sauce person. Also added a fried egg (+$2). The bowl was very delicious, minus the signature rice, I'd get all crispy Brussels next time! $4 BUTTERFLY TEA: very sweet, but good! $4 MINI COOKIES (4-PACK): I got 2 chocolate chip and 2 banana chip cookies. A little dry, but yummy. OVERALL (4/5): This is a FAST-CASUAL restaurant. They ask for automatic tip at the cashier, but you pretty much service yourself except when they bring out the food. I honestly wasn't expecting to spend this much for a quick lunch (total was $36), but I wanted to try everything. Now I know what I like and don't like here and excited to try some of the other bowl options! Definitely recommend this place! Very yummy!
